Warding:
so warding is pretty important; and chances are you’ve already heard at least mention of it.
Warding is the act of putting a spiritual or energy based layer of protection around an object, room, house or space.
Warding can be temporary, long term, somewhat self charging or reliant or need regular up keep.
It works usually to keep unpleasant things out but depending on how you set it up really you can use wards to also keep things in.
So I have previously made a witches bottle fit where I live (currently been dispelled as we are moving) and I also use meditation as a way to place wards up; theses are not long lasting and require a lot of energy to do. I also put up chalk ward lines across my doorway and window sill about once a week.
As such I currently have a set of “anchor points” for my dorm room. Since the four corners of my room match near perfectly with the cardinal directions, I have placed a small bottle in each corner. Each bottle contains sigils and corresponds to an element. I then have a much larger glass jar that combines these anchor points as the main spell. This charges with the full moon to help with the longevity of my wards.
Having anchor points can really speed up the placing of wards and reduce the engerd required due the main spell having taken about 2 hours to cast originally.
