Okay I haven't really commented much on Home, moreso because it's boring as ever and I've been a bit busy with my video games as well as writing my own works. However this page that just dropped deserves some serious criticism.
I noticed this when Iberion and Rogio gave their little sob story about the Snowcap tribe but this plot point keeps coming up with almost every single character.
Most of the fathers in this comic are abusive.
Kargo's Father (presumably) was abusive since he clearly didn't care about the status of women in the MT tribe
Ranach's Father was abusive
Rogio/Iberion's Father was abusive
Felidae's Father didn't 'like' her. While she didn't use the term abusive here the fact that this same exact scenario came up yet again made me roll my eyes.
I can't tell if Kique is projecting or just creatively bankrupt, although both might very well apply here. Abuse does not excuse a character from any type of consequences or their actions that they do. That's the first point.
Inbreeding: For fucks sake, just WHY is this coming up again? For MT, this was very clearly a plot point in early Home but seeing it elsewhere is bizarre, especially with the excuse Felidae gives here. She was traded off for political reasons, that reason being setting up trade. Well if that was the fucking case, why haven't we seen Grayflag appear at all in the 977 pages? Also to expand upon this, if Whispervale knows that they have a limited gene pool, why aren't the dogs there being spread out to different tribes? MT had the excuse that no one wanted to deal with them, Whispervale DOESN'T.
Keep in mind, despite Fjordor being the last dog in his Tribe and ALL 3 of his daughters are elsewhere, why the hell are one of them not in Whispervale because at the very least they could visit their Father and check up on him. Felidae doesn't like her old man, but nothing is keeping her from visiting her sisters that she's never fucking mentioned in all of this time keep in mind. This is something I brought up recently with the concept of "nuclear family" that Kique just constantly refuses to even entertain in this entire comic.
Not going to bother with this piss poor 'relationship' with Ferah or Felidae, but this entire page is just all kinds of plot holes within 6 panels. For my writers out there, there are more ways to show character development than fucking "my father abused me" over and over again, jfc.
As far as the videos go, I'm still out of a computer. I haven't forgotten about them. Every time Home updates, the script does to.
Trauma Dumping Jahla - And Mr Bad Guy Rohgir ( Short Topic is Short Lol )
Anyone else irritated with the characters of this comic blabbing the same thing to Jahla over and over again?
Obviously, Kique is famous for his repetitive scenes, but Christ. And I honestly wouldn’t doubt if there was more scenes of this crap. OBVIOUSLY there is a reason why Jahla may NOT want to go see her brother?

Okay, one thing I need to pin point here. Why is Father doing absolutely ARSE about this situation? OH that’s right, Kique and his mini me have just the perfect excuse for it!!
So good boy Kique there even mentioned himself that essentially father is a fookin’ idiot. So of course, this opens a range of topics.
1. Father is suppose to be a god, yeah? I suppose Kique forgot that Asmundr existed before Home.. Clearly, Father was able to fight back against Marduk and win, so what the hell was stopping him this time?
2. Father literally made these dogs HIS responsibility when he decided to yeet them from Earth, so that’s his own damn fault. Also, he is clearly aware of the ghouls as he mentions in page 937, so why not WARN anyone before dropping them off on an unknown planet?
3. Again, the Akuilfr are literally FATHERS RESPONSIBILITY. They are literally HIS CREATIONS. But again, Father is shown as a neglectful POS, because this wouldn’t be the first creation he’s just upped and abandoned.
AUGH, ANYWAY.
My biggest tiff is Father here, he created the Akuilfr and recognizes that mister Rohgir there may pose a PROBLEM. So, instead of being a responsible adult, wtf does Father do? Dump the load onto Jahla, just like Lifa. Father literally has the power to shut sh*t down, but instead, it’s “he needs you.” And don’t give me that “I lose time on Earth” sh*t. Kique has run so far outta excuses as to why Father can’t be helpful, it ain’t even funny anymore. Commenters and die hard fans are finally starting to notice it, so Kique and mini me there pulled these silly excuses outta their arse. Honestly, I feel plenty of people tackled these issues in the comments, only a matter of time before the chieftain turns them off again.
Aside from all that. Why have we not seen the status of Rohgir? We HEAR about how bad he is, especially from Argeirr here
So WHY are we not SEEING anything? The issue of Rohgir has been spanning for HUNDREDS of pages and yet, the last time we saw him was what? Page 391 I think? Anyone with a brain can see this is a problem. Is Kique ever going to actually show the issue with Rohgir? Or is this one of his stupid “edge of your seat” situations that he CLEARLY sucks at. I’m still waiting for him to tackle the “lone wolf” topic that he drudged up, possibly relating TO Rohgir.
Hi, I am here to tell you about my experience with two artists, Staz (Kique girlfriend) and Kique (the author of Asmundr and Home comic). I discovered Kique when he was working at Asmundr, when he was at the half of the comic. Back there i loved his work, i loved until last year when i found out what a horrible person he is. I used to idolize him. Then he got a new girlfriend, Staz. He was with a girl Mag at first, she was cool. Staz was cool too at the beginning but after some time she started to be Kique's echo. What i mean? Kique started to act like a total jerk with his followers, even with the ones from patreon. She thrown Soda out just bcz she had a different opinion about his comic then him, and they were close, she even made some fanarts for him. He even send his friends to fight his battle for him. Staz attacked an artist bcz she claimed he traced after her drawing, she send her friends to bully him and haress him, just like Kique did with an artist that after comited suicide. These two made a job from haressing people and bully them. They both love to threaten that they will report to DMCA. My fight with them started some time ago when i asked Staz on dA about some brushes on a drawing she posted, she attacked me and claimed that i traced her and Kiqs drawings. She attacked me directly, she never asked nice. Then i did what she asked bcz i still idolized Kique. I will put some screenshots of the talk i had with both of them.
After that it was quiet some time, than Staz found my instagram account where i posted the same drawings she accused me of tracing. We are talking about this drawing:

She made a public post about me on her insta and i was forced to delet it. But after some time i started to think the situation through and i came to a conclusion, it was not traced, she stole the pose from Disney, The Aristocats and Lion King.
She claimed the pose as her own which in truth it's not, they belong to Disney. So i posted the artwork back on insta and gave proper credit to Disney. She found out and attacked me, made a hate post about me and sended her followers and friends to bully, attack and haress me to take it down. She even said she can't give me more the 12 years, that technically makes me a kid so from Staz acctions we can clearly see that she will not have a problem in haressing and bully a kid over a stupid drawing. She even allowed her friends to witch hunt me. And we are talking here about Kique and Staz, the King and Queen of tracing, but from where i stand i see that it's okay to trace if it's them that are doing it. Kique traces a lot of poses for his comic, Staz traces for her artworks and both never give proper credit for the authors of the photos or drawings they "references" from. I will make another post to show you that i have proof againt them and that they really did what i wrote here.
Buahahaha! Kique saying this with no fucking self awareness is mind-boggling. Mr. Totally-doesn't-steal-ideas-and theories-from-fans really wants to use the narcissist line unironically. You can't make this shit up if you tried. I can't believe anyone continues to support this guy. You are paying for copy/paste images with a plot 12 year olds could make miles better and more coherent without even trying. Truly the Kanye West of animal comics right here.

932:
So this page opens up with Marduk's statue being headless. I'm not sure if Kique is poking fun at the fact that Jalha decapitated him or showing his hatred of the character. Considering how much Marduk bullied Amundr, burning the statue actually seemed like a more productive way to convey that he was never one of Asmundr and erase them from their lives.
We then move to a panel of a grave and learn that this is a headstone for Rome confirming that his dumbass did indeed die.
Then we have the next panel with Jahla and Folluin saying that Thakir is wearing his cloak again. This cloak was removed after Rohgir banished Jahla and him from the Aki Island. For me, this is a details that is forced. Thakir is a priest character, I do get that, but I don't know how seeing Father suddenly resumed his 'faith'. Father didn't DO anything. Yes he toppled the Obelisk over, but that was only after Jahla defeated him. Notice how he just did the bare minimum and peaced the fuck out of there without speaking to anyone of the dogs that he held in high regard. There is no reason why any of these characters should trust this guy, he is a bastard and he has proven time and time again that he doesn't give a damn about any of them.
The fact that Jahla's mother Lifa was willing to stay with Jahla after everything that has transpired is fucking laughable since she never has had any interest in making sure her other son Rohgir is okay. Lifa knows that he is 'not himself' by this point, but as usual the concept of nuclear family is just tossed in the fucking garbage again. Either way, at least she has been shown to have some compassion for her daughter which is more than I can say about Father at this point.
933:
So it's revealed that Lifa has been here with Jahla presumably after the entire affair with Marduk. Lifa offers to stay longer but Jahla says that it is not needed since she needs to take Rome's body to rest. Now if you remember from a few chapters back when Roamer and company were in Midnightgard, Fjordor explained that the body rises shortly after death and they start peeling off their skins and have the familiar black skin they are known for. So by that logic Rome should have been a ghoul a day or two after he died. Again, we don't have a good time period, but this is a story inconsistency with how they actually work. I don't even know why he bothered because ghouls haven't been seen in ages and have no reason to be in his plot anymore.
Then there is this random mention of Ranach with Whispervale warning her about… what exactly? This happened off screen (because of course it would) so I don't understand the context of why this is being said. Yes, Ranach is using her to justify this stupid rebellion is a thing, but what else is that fucking twink going to do to her? While Jahla says she is not afraid, I still find this reaction to be a bit weird for her. She is being aggressive again, saying she will "deal with that ugly whelp if he dares to show up". I don't understand this personality. This anger that she had got Rome killed, and it's like she has learned nothing. Also if she knows about Ranach, then she had to have known what this idiot is capable of and no, she absolutely should not 'handle' Ranach on her own.
The next panel is Lifa apologizing with what she said about Rohgir. This is a conversation that should have happened before this, but you have to understand this is Kique speaking to his audience about the criticism that he got in regards to how Lifa just said 'he is under pressure' or something stupid like that. You usually can tell that Kique is doing a 4th Wall Break, and speaking to his critics because the speech bubbles will be flooded with an insane about of text in a short period. You are about to see in full affect shortly.
Moving on, Jahla states that she had to make a journey alone with her own tribe. It's kinda laughable to me in a way. She has the Aki she got kicked out, her brother, the rabbit, and then Avanti. I wouldn't call this a tribe at all and I have to wonder why Jahla insists on calling it that considering she clearly can't do the bare minimum and stated she didn't want this title and she sucks at her "job" that she was supposed to do (Making friends with the local dogs). Also she states she is afraid how Asmundr would perceive her after killing Marduk. The bitch used her teeth, you know, the thing that makes her a wolf. Why would this be any different? Was she supposed to use a knife to disbowel him? Now that I think about it, Jahla doesn't carry weapons at all. I saw her bring a knife to the Tinget way back when, but it was out of place much like that gown she was wearing. It kills me how much Kique tries to make these characters anything but animals in his comic. Lifa tells her she understands and tells her to come to the north when she is ready.
934/935:
I know in the Marduk video that I states that Jahla spoke to Father consistently as a child and one of my criticisms was that we never see this anymore. Well apparently Kique remembered this little detail and suddenly had Jahla speak to the sky. Interestingly enough, she calls out Father on his bullshit for just disappearing after Marduk died and destroyed the obelisk. Her response should be one out of anger, but for some reason it's not. There is a glowing trail of flowers that she follows, and at the end of it is Father.
He looks WEIRD. This is another downgrade in terms of art quality. Father looked ethereal in Asmundr, you could tell that he was not a native of the planet, but here? He's just another rifle dog with a cockatoo crest. His eyes are so small and he just looks wrong anatomically. I'm not a dog art expert by any stretch of the imagination, but something is off about his design. The first thing out of this creature's mouth is he is "so sorry". And again, I don't understand why Jahla doesn't have this anger or appears upset with Father. Everything that has happened to all of these Asmundr characters first and second generations are HIS FAULT. I'd actually do another generation as well with the bullshit that is going on with Ninmah but she's a whole different can of worms. Jahla admits that Rome dying is her fault and I don't really give a damn because she isn't someone that has been shown to have any control when it comes to compulsive actions. She got mad at Rhov when he disagreed with her about the gods, she got made at Rohgir when he changed events with the Akis, she killed Flameguard - and admittedly that is not completely her fault, but she did no self reflection, and then Marduk happened. So no, I don't feel fucking sorry for her because she has had three events to make her sit the fuck down and think, but she chose not to.

So this is the start of the info dump that Kique is doing to his critics. The first thing Jahla rightfully asks is where the fuck has he been. Kique- excuse me, Father says that the obelisk kept him away and blocked him from speaking to any of the pack members. In fact, this death dildo was so powerful, he could only squeeze a small nondescriptive vision for Kainan and that was his limit. This pisses me off so much. Even if he himself couldn't land on the ENTIRE planet of Aedra, does he not have fucking servants or pets that can do it for him?
You have to keep in mind, Father stated in the scrolls recovered on Aki island that he KNEW Marduk was evil from the very beginning. Even if he couldn't do anything himself, FIND someone to get the message to the ones you care about. This is the same issue that I had with Marduk when I went over his arc. I get gods are a concept that we as creatives and readers may not be able to understand, but good lord, saying a fucking obelisk kept you away from a whole goddamn planet is ludicrous. Compound that with how easily Father took down the death dildo, it makes me mad.
Kique is a creator that has no fucking respect for his audience. He thinks you as a consumer of his work are dumb. He doesn't want you to think about all of the implications that he does each chapter. He talks down to you through his self inserts, he expects you to not remember details from chapter to chapter, page to page in some cases.
Whatever, let's keep going. Father explains that Marduk purposely moved the elderly Asmundr pack away from the kids. For what reason? This still doesn't explain why Marduk did anything really. The elders and I guess just the Aki pups might have favored Father, but the other second generation pups? What was so important that they were kept away from the elders?
And then Kique of course has to address the other sky gods that are just non existent in the story. Some want to destroy the humans, others want to save them. Why? How? No explanation for you. Somehow in this clusterfuck Father further says that Marduk and others went too far and gave them a piece of the gods blood and lived among them to be praised and whatever else. Along with the humans, apparently Avanti is also an experiment of Marduk's as well saying that she also looks closer to a god.
Look before we move on, I just want to emphasize that Father is implying that humans are supposed to be made in their image and just did this whole pseudo religious imagery. If that is the case, what is the point in keeping these dogs around? Ignoring the evolutionary aspect, the more Father speaks in this I'm just so confused, WHY this bastard is even speaking to the dogs at all? When you think about it, if Asmundr were the champions of earth, THEY should be the ones assisting Father killing the humans. At this point with how he has abandoned his 'champions of earth' he might as well just take all of them out Old Yeller Style than let them live miserable lives on this planet. It makes no sense why dogs are the basis of this story. I believe that writers for sentient animals are called xenofiction writers, if I am wrong just correct me. But if you go out of your way to write about feral animals, you should have a REASON why they are intelligent and understand the limitations a writer puts themselves in when they create a story like this. If I were to describe Home to anyone and don't mention what they look like, there is no way I can picture anyone thinking that these characters are animals just on context alone. Many people besides me have stated that this story would have functioned a lot better if this characters were furries, and to be honest, at this point in the story, they should have all been human characters.
With that in mind, Kique - excuse me, Father states that humans have been far more resilant than he thought and has been watching them for a long time. This is the SAME thing that he said about Kainan and co in the Asmundr story. It was why Father didn't go after the Shield Wolves himself, he was a passive observer then, and he is one now. Then Father confides that the humans have done a lot wrong, but they don't deserve to be wiped out completely. He says that love can change them, but it will take some time, and he cares for the humans and I had a fucking mental stroke. The ENTIRE basis for Home is that Father was supposed to kill the humans which just shows how much Kique wants to waste his audience's time because he won't do the most logical thing and get RID of these motherfuckers.

This dumpster fire is still not done because for some reason Father tells Jahla that more dogs can't come to Aedra because… why? Like, it seemed the aliens kidnapping dogs was a pretty random event from the start of Home, but what this tells me is that he is leaving whatever dogs on earth and they are just shit out of luck. Jahla asks Father if Asmundr can return home, and Father just says no and says that "it will take time" which doesn't explain what the issue with the humans actually IS. Father has made it seem like these human are destructive and incapable of intelligence, but then if they have the Sky Gods blood, they should have something more to them considering that they were able to survive plagues, floods and whatever weird shit Marduk and whatever else him and the gods were doing to get rid of them clearly wasn't working. So with that in mind, what is Father's solution for bringing humans to be 'kind'? Never explained.
Then Father reveals that the dogs aren't aging because the Sky Gods angered the spirits here by giving "their creations" a longer life span. Keep in mind the ghoul situation has already been explained by Aira way back when when Keirr burned Zilas body, so Kique just opened up another can of worms by trying to fix that issue with this explaination. First the obvious one, what creations are Father talking about? The only ones that seem tied to the Sky Gods are the Zioqua and Rabisu. From what we learned previously, Marduk seemed to kill off a lot of them. Again, we as readers have no idea what this was like because these two Guardian Species has been on Aedra for at least a thousand years according to them. If angering the spirits caused the ghouls to manifest, why didn't the gods or the guardian species try to TALK to the spirits? There seems to be only ONE GOD that is responsible for the ghouls being reanimated. Are you telling me that Father or any other of these idiots didn't try to talk to a spirit? We know that they do listen to an extent so this bullshit excuse is laughable.
Then Kique has to bring up the crest. Apparently it acts only to protect Akis and the others from harm. HOW?! Kique never explained what type of power it actually gives them. Kique STILL has not answered this fucking question. The only thing that is said is it protects them against the Red Eye disease which hasn't ever come up in Home at all. Good lord, Kique is reaching so far, he's in another dimension by this point.

For reasons that I don't understand, Father asks about Rohgir. Like, there is no reason at all for this guy to be brought up with how the conversation is going. When Jahla responds that she hasn't, Father makes it a point to say that he's seen how much "he has changed" and harmed his sister. And because Kique thinks his readers are idiots you have to wonder, how is that possible if the obelisk was keeping Father away from Aedra? This is information that he could not know. To top it all off, when Jahla and Avanti were reading the scrolls from Aki island, it was implied that Father KNOWS where Rohgir is. So with those two revelations in mind, the question becomes why Father, the creator of the Akis doesn't fucking get down from his high horse and talk to the beings he created. No, he is too much of a pussy to do that because Kique has to artificially keep this comic going longer and he leaves the burden of talking to Rohgir to Jahla. Considering that the bitch couldn't make friends with a single dog on Aedra besides the one she was having sex with, I'm just so disgusted.
Just as quickly as Kique, I mean Father, came to see Jahla, he has to go. Not even offering her any type of advice, not comforting her, not giving her a fucking sliver to show that he gives a damn about anyone in this goddamn comic. By now, it is painfully obvious that Kique thinks that making a character say something "noble" or "profound" can excuse a character of any type of scrutiny. From Jahla, to Kainan, to Rohgir, to Ninmah, to the dogs that have been kidnapped and forced to stay on this planet, EVERY ACTION from the moment Father put these dogs here is his responsibility. It's amazing that I did see some comments on this page call Father out for his bullshit, but of course Kique and Pralig gloss over everything because by god, they are going to make you like these characters no matter what, and they will never do anything wrong.
I'm going to just let you know, Father will do something in the future that is going to piss anyone with a functioning brain off. Remember that Father said no one can return to earth. We don't know the reason, but he can't do it. I also want you to remember that Rohgir and Argeirr have been on Father's ship for an undisclosed amount of time. Father is making Asmundr stay on Aedra even knowing he and the Sky Gods have pissed off the local spirits. I'm done for now but goddamn I'm so over Father, he is the worst character is this comic hands down.
Last Random Note: Kique created a Dissolved Tribes section on his Wiki. On it, is listed Midnightgarde and Lowglade and what makes this sad and hilarious he flat out implies that the Solar Stag Tribe killed all of them. Can he be any more transparent with his hatred? LOL
