only 2015 kids remember my gem oc- I gave Rhodochrosites from Homeworld a new purpose after finally understanding how the caste system works. -Also Homeworld Cymo @tigertoony​ created not too long ago!

Rhodos are rare Era 1 gems, part of Pink Diamond’s court. Since Pink Diamond was so fond of fun and entertainment, Blue and Yellow Diamond allowed the creation of these monochromatic gems as performers compared to earth’s Theater, Broadway and Opera singers. Rhodo’s sing, dance and even create colorful flashy lights-their singing is said to make any gem feel euphoria and pure joy compared again to Blue Diamond’s ability to make people cry based on her emotions.

Our Rhodo however is a terrible singer..their other 2 Rhodochrosites cover them with their beautiful melody-whilst they just do flashy stuff instead in their shows. At the same time, Rhodo is lowkey annoyed how they cant go out and explore the colonies like the Amethysts do-they befriend them but they kept warning Rhodo that their a special gem, not made for fighting.  “But im big just like you guys! I..i can try!” “hahah oh Rhodo, thats not enough..you’re needed here.” 

Frustrated, Rhodo sneaked in one of the ships when Pink Diamond was ready to colonize Earth, and got caught in the Gem War. Rhodo watched as their friends got poofed or shattered in the battlefield and even got caught up with one of the Crystal Gems troops..But was never seen again. Though rumors say Rhodo was discovered thousands of years later as a gem by confused but very caring Buddhist monks of the mountain.

What does Urusovite do?

its not so much what she does in the current story, its what she did.

Urusovite (or Ur, but never address her as that) is a lead Homeworld Gem Scientist. she does Gem experimentation, or any other grimy tests her Diamonds request of her. She was the lead gem in charge of the un-willful experiments on the Asisites, back then only Asisite. She is cold and cruel, and cares only of her tasks and the benefit of Homeworld.

She’s not a “mad scientist” per say, but she’s definitely…… not a desirable one. Extremely determined and wastes no time with “useless” things, and very possessive of her “successful” creations, or ones with high potential. This includes the Asisites, and she is determined to recapture them and “fix” them to follow orders.

ill probably get a full profile on her eventually! but currently shes around 20,000+ years and 6′3".

Emerald explains the crash and explosion to her superior, Spinel. Emeralds are like... Ladies and negotiators in my headcanons. This was done over the course of a few days while I was exhausted. Also my art isn't that great to begin with lmao. Hopefully when I get a tablet, I'll be able to improve more than I can on my phone. Apatite regenerated into her base clothing when she hit the ground to preserve energy. Is is rather charred as well, even a bit of her hair is on fire. Apatite refused to board the rescue fleet, mainly out of fear. She also wasn't going to leave the shards of her best friend behind. Emerald didn't know what else to say to Spinel when she asked, so Emerald told her that both Apatite and Praisolite had both perished.
