Other facts about them:
Despite being made up of two gems that are cautious and thoughtful (compared to the impulsive Kunzite), their combined inner rage culminates into a gem with a rebellious streak and a hothead. They aren’t the healthiest fusion at first, made solely out of both’s need to prove themselves as capable. In fact, they didn’t reveal themselves until post-Jay transition. That way they looked like they were put together to others. They do learn some self-love and get healthy. Every time they re-fuse (once they both get to their current forms), they get a new patch or pin.
As mentioned in Sodalite’s page, he transitioned to male and goes by Jay because he loves those funky birds (hence the art on the back of Chal’s vest). And ofc since my gemsona is the other half of the fusion, they love opossums!
