The thing about the heterosexual dating market is that by and large, women are the pickers. Most of them would like someone who is tall and has a good personality. From there, they can be divided to the ones who are willing to go for a man who isn't tall if he's got a great personality, and the women who are willing to lower their standards for personality for as long as the man is tall. Bottomline: Unless the tall guys are super successful & have all kinds of women throwing their #s at them. We see this in movies all the time, the guy who is focused on his career is the ___ or both husband & wife are oblivious when both have their own carrot but seems to be the "perfect couple" until one or both find s/t to draw them back (1950's film formula). I think this is a fair take of the normal situation.. fragmenting of ideals.

Hot take, shouldn't women be the ones to carry the family name given their prospects to propagate are higher??

Depressing but somewhat plausible theory for any modern zombie apocalypse show that simply refuses to just call them "zombies": Early on during the pandemic, various media corporations tried their best to cover up what was happening, and anything mentioning the word "zombie" got shadowbanned, so a mountain of euphenisms came up instead bc everyone knows what you're talking about when making a post complaining about how you'd really need to go get groceries but your neighbours have—forgotten their manners—and are blocking the door. And anyone born after the fall, or who was simply too young to remember at the time, has no knowledge of why every group seems to have a different name for the zeds, walkers, the dead, strangers, infected, visitors, etc.

I think it would be funny to write a murder mystery where not only did every single character involved have an obvious motive to kill this mf, they were actually all attempting to murder him first, but the murder attempts all cancelled each other out all except for one. Two people tried to poison him but the poisons just happen to work as antidotes for each other, and instead of killing him only gave him the shits, and due to having the shits he couldn't go hunting that day like he had planned, foiling the plans of the one who had conditioned his favourite hunting horse to panic and bolt at the cue of a whistle, and the other murder attempt of tampering with his gun so that it would have exploded his whole face off. The whole mystery isn't about who could have done it or how, but who was the one who got lucky and actually succeeded.
