Genuine question:

Who asked for a One Piece anime remake and why?

I love One Piece, but as someone who has yet to see ONE good remake that didn't

overcorrect,

miss the characterisations of the cast (looking at you ATLA) or

drop the ball completely

I really need to ask if a remake of Anime's neverending story is REALLY necessary.

Is it just me or is the fact trans men need a word like 'transandrophobia' just another effect of an over all misogynistic system? Like, it's just transphobia directed specifically at trans men. (Edit: This has been explained to me better in the comments and I now have a better understanding of the term.) Because they are still viewed as women or confused little girls. Like... Homophobia applies to both gay men and lesbians, but lesbiphobia is necessary to specify the specific hate towards lesbians, but homophobia is the standard that applies to gay men?

Like, I know I'm not articulating it very well, but it just feels to me that when it involves AFABs specifically we are the ones who need to create a language space to clarify the way that same system effects us differently from what is universally considered 'the standard'.

Or is this a self-inflicted thing where we get frustrated because our unique experiences get brushed aside and diminished, so we feel the need to put our feet down and clarify that 'no, this happens to us and it is a big deal, and clearly y'all aren't battling this same issue!'? Am I making any sense?

And just so I'm clear, this is a discussion for trans men or wlw who have experienced this issue and have given it some real thought. If you are some lesbiphobe or tranandrophobic weirdo I'm just going to block you and remove your comment, man. I'm just new to this topic and learning about it and how it effects trans men/mascs such as myself. (Edit: To clarify, I am hoping to hear from people who have experienced these things, and would rather people who have not didn't speak over the ones who have. Thank you.)
