it’s hard to get an oc off the ground, especially if that oc is an oc of color. doesn’t mean i’ll stop trying. doesn’t mean i’ll stop bringing in ocs of color. but sometimes i sit here and realize: “wow, oc x would probably gain a lot more traction a lot faster if i used a pretty white fc instead.”

Wei is taken aback by the question that his only reaction was to clench his jaw. That really got him thinking. As much as he'd love to believe himself a wolf, his father would say otherwise. He isn't one until he's proven it, and the only way to do that was to take over Auradon, like his father wishes. But he won't take himself as a sheep either. He was somewhere in between, if that was entirely possible. “I am whatever I choose to be, which is neither of those.”

  having friends was something he was getting used to. but having people other than his aunt getting him gifts? that was something he wasn’t going to get used to for a long time. peter was half expecting her to give him some sort of gag-gift. or some kind of joke. that wouldn’t have been a first. not that she had done that, but it had happened in new york.

his face softened, examining the box for a few seconds. eyes moving back to her, “ you--really didn’t have to get me anything.” shaking his head as soon as the words left his mouth, silently chastising himself for appearing ungrateful. “ I mean. that’s...” clearing his throat once, “ that’s not what I wanted to say. thank you.” softening his voice a little, “ am I allowed to open it, now? or--do I have to wait?”

When Angélique befriends Vivian, it is the first time that she has had a close female friendship and first one with another Asian girl as well. Growing up in the private school system of Pari.s, it wasn’t exactly the most diverse or welcoming. So she cherishes having another person of a similar background to her that is close to her age and not her governess. 

Despite not being allowed to participate in the K@rate wars, Ange shows up to support Viv at all of her tournaments. She goes FULL OUT and makes posters for her while sitting with the Song family.

Knowing that she probably gets little booboos often, Angélique will gift her some Arnic.an ointment to help speed up the healing process. Every time she goes back home, she brings several boxes for Vivian cause you can only get them in Fr.ance.

Being a sanriho.e, Angélique gets them matching San.rio keychains when she goes to J-town. She puts hers with her keys and doesn’t mind if Viv doesn’t use hers in public.
