Whenever I reread The Coming of Hoole and get up to the part where the Glauxian Brothers show up on the island and Grank and Theo hope their stay is only temporary and they'll leave soon I always think it's so funny because after reading the first books of the series I know that the Glauxian Brothers are still there on that very same island literally a thousand years later.
