yeah she and mei definitely have a convo about not aging but mei’s reason for it is stated pretty explicitly in canon wheras mercy’s reason for looking the same pre and post fall of ow is pretty vague and not even commented on except for that one line of dialogue she has w mei
and like....her stated age is like 37 or something which is only five years older than pharah and i guess im just confused about how mercy fits into the timeline because like mercy had to be an accomplished doctor and scientist way before the petras act in order to revive genji which i guess makes her a little young ?

Listening to your "Back in the day" podcast, you listed shroud as a thing of the past. Which surprised me until I checked when the last card with shroud was printed (4 years ago). Since you said hexproof and shroud were both problematic, was it better to have the stronger mechanic than the weaker one? Assuming I'm right in thinking shroud is/was weaker.
We chose Hexproof because a lot of players kept playing Shroud as Hexproof.
Since everyone's asking about multiverse travel, are portals still a thing? I wasn't around for Scars of Mirrodin so I don't know if Phyrexians are still using portals to get around. I ask mostly because there used to be a certain noble vampire amassing an army before marching through and I was curious if he's now trapped forever in lore-limbo.
Portals post-Mending have become very, very rare.
Is there an article/do you know off-hand why flip cards were a failure? I've resigned myself to liking things it seems few others do, but what about this particular facet of Kamigawa did not work?
