Hoppin’ Frog Brewing’s Mean Manalishi Double IPA on tap at Jet Rock Bar & Grill @ PHL. A 3 of 4. Smells of herbal, floral, and some citrus qualities and quite a bit of malt sweetness. A firm bitterness in the body alongside quite a bit of caramel and roast malt, and finishes dry and relatively resinous. Definitely on the maltier side of things for big IPAs.
Rated some special beers from Hoppin Frog Brewing. Only 8.5 oz can but ABV is 14-16%. All very boozy but quite good.

Erin at Hoppin Frog
Hoppin Frog - Hoppin to Heaven IPA.
I'm mad at this beer. It exploded when I opened it (seriously, beer, I just walked you from the fridge to the counter with minimal movement) so I only got to have about half of this pint plus 6 oz bottle. That said, it was pretty tasty. I thought it was crisp and light, a nice warmer weather beer (or, in my case, a crazy hot apartment) and kind of tangy which was unexpected but still delicious.
Hoppin' Frog Nake Evil and Sweet Evil
This is going to be quick. I paid over 20 dollars for this beer and a little less for the Sweet Evil version (not pictured). As with all Hoppin Frog beers this was too much to pay but sometimes you bite the bullet and do it. These beers are awful, especially the Sweet Evil. They both poured a light colored thin mess that looked like cough syrup. The Naked Evil is aged in whiskey barrels and this shows in the ridiculous bad whiskey taste on the back end. Both of these beers, especially Sweet Evil, are cloyingly sweet in the worst way. I understand one being called Sweet Evil I should expect sweetness in the flavor; however, this was beyond any sweetness that should ever be in a beer. Both of these just smell, feel, and taste like a mess of gross. Everyone I shared this with ended up drain pouring with me. I would not recommend this beer or anything by Hoppin' Frog to be honest. They have some decent stouts but for the price I can't recommend them. These two Barley Wines were a joke in my opinion.

This beer is exactly what the label says...citrus as FUCK! If you like lemon and super refreshing fruit beers, then this is for you. Now I have to finish this all by myself. Booo.
