I had to jump real high to get this one... . Spent some time organizing and policing the area. Don’t know about you, but I feel a whole lot better when my camp looks a whole lot better. Keep my gear straight. I take up the area out of habit; in the spring and summer it help keep the bugs down. In the fall and winter, raking the leaves back makes it a hell of a lot quieter at night and I can sneak around silently in the dark and watch the night critters come around. . I’ve had Black Bears, Grey Fox, Coyotes, butch buck and doe White-Tail deer, weasels, raccoons, and wild turkeys in this same campsite before. . Especially on the nights around full moon, which is this weekend. Black bears don’t see real well so don’t usually prowl around at night, unless it’s bright and clear out. .
