Scary Finley! had alot of fun sketching this one. The axolotl inspired gills r alot more visible here, plus i gave him a moray eel-inspired second jaw! yk, just for some extra charm ;)

he's supposed to be over water here, so his hair is laid back alot more. I'd like to think its rlly heavy and you can only ever truly see the full volume of it when he's under water with it, since it sorta just clings to him mostly when on the surface. I did give it a lil bit of a curl, but that's mostly cuz i couldnt help myself hehe

So I've been told A LOT lately I need to market my Spider Lily design to Silent Hill F enjoyers, even though it was made quite a few years ago (inspired in a way by the same person, since horror anime/VNs were a big inspiration, so either way it all goes back to Ryukishi07). But unfortunately I've got awful timing and most all of our spider lily stuff has been sold out since September. However!

Spider Lily Skaters and Spider Lily Joggers just restocked yesterday! So you can at least check those two out now. It'll be a while before other skirt lengths return, but they will return eventually!! 🖤 witchvamp.com 🖤

SADAKORIC: a term to describe an intersex person whose gender is intrinsically connected to the horror genre! weather their connection to the horror genre is related to their intersexuality or not varies from person to person!

NOTE: this term was created specifically in reference to horror movies and literature, however other forms of media (video games, podcasts, shows, visual novels, ect.) are also included

ETYMOLOGY + COLOR PALETTE: both the color scheme and the label SADAKORIC itself are in reference to Sadako from the Ring/Ringu (for those who don’t know, Sadako was intersex with androgen insensitivity syndrome in the original novel! however it was referred to as testicular feminization syndrome at the time)

Which female horror throwback do you like the most?

Despite not doing a Jennifer's Body throwback, Sabrina Carpenters new clip for her song 'Taste' reminded me a lot of Madison Beer's clip for 'Make You Mine".

Both are very iconic and are amongst my favourite film clips of the year, but in the spirit of running a blog and finding reasons to post, I thought I would do a little poll.

Madison's clip draws on inspiration from Jennifer's Body and gives us a fanfiction style ending that depicts Needy and Jennifer as a couple.

Sabrina Carpenter - Taste

Sabrina's clip draws inspiration from many films, including Ginger Snaps', 'Death Becomes Her' and 'Kill Bill' (despite not being a horror).
