Regression paired with horror is epic. I totally get why some people don't even like horror much less mixed in with reg but to me it's top tier. Things that are unsettling while strangely comforting is such a cosy yet effective way at unpacking trauma for me that I wish it was talked about more/experemented with more. It's delish.

Ok but really hear me out here, CG Jason Voorhees. It's totally canon in one of the comics! I think the comic is called "How I spent my Summer vacation" and I know I have it around my house somewhere. But Jason basically sees a child with a similar disability getting picked on by the other kids at camp and Jason saves the kid from drowning. He then takes care of the kid and it's so CG coded. Big brother Jason is my favorite headcanon. He'd be an absolute sweetheart. I don't care if he's a big scary slasher, Jason is a good dude. I'd like to hang out with him!
