a collection of bits found in a Serbian cave- Celtic in origin, and belonging to the Scordisci. its hard to find a date or source for these bits outside of this, but some websites are listing it at around 2-1 bc.
Bought Lily a new in half a size down. It’s a bradoon (which is why the rings are so small) but it’s all they had in stock. They still work fine on their own, plus aesthetically I prefer a smaller ring.

Worthy holding his bit in his mouth! He has held the bit for a second before, but yesterday he just held it. It was so cool! I think the reasons why he held it are because he was very sleepy yesterday, he really likes this bit, and he’d had the bridle on for a while before I went to take it off.
