The hotel pool at this Embassy Suites is pretty nice, but I was kind of surprised to see that it was advertised as heated when it definitely wasn’t! It’s possible that they turn off the heat once the summer hits, which would make sense, but I was grateful to have my rash guard on to help keep me warm in addition to the UPF protection.

The pool deck is pretty understated--not a ton of chairs or tables--but they had a nice little area where you could play corn hole which was a nice touch. I also liked that I could monitor any problematic clouds while I was getting my workout in, and I only encountered one moment where I had to get out of the water and stand under my umbrella while the rain came through for all of five minutes. Given that we saw a decent amount of rain on this trip, that wasn’t too shabby!
