My new favorite addition to the pokemon lore is that the champion Leon is not necessarily bad with directions it just that reality itself is bending around him and anyone in like a 10 ft radius of him. god it hits different knowing what is to come, but the early concrete stage in house.wad has got to be one of the best iterations of a “backrooms” type idea and an amazing metaphor for grief and depression. In a cold gray expanse that seems to go on forever, sometimes there is light in form of a doggy. I hope never ever anything bad happens ever smile.
For all this talk about house.wad and House of leaves so little is spoken about Poe's Haunted album.. which is so intricately tied with the book that it's almost a crime not to mention it.
