Housebroken...pookies...
Not the regular au, this is the version where the whole family gets cursed snd Alma doesn't find out about it until a little before Antonio's birthday lololol
The fact that the family managed to hide it from her (and the village) for so long is a miracle in snd of it self
Anyway here's Alma lowkey tweakin after seeing Pedro again
-----
Alma hadn't know how long she had been sitting there. Not really. There wasn't much. Just a blank white space. She was sitting on the floor, she presumed anyway. There was no real way to tell. Time didn't appear to be in this strange place.
"Alma."
Alma shot up, whipping around to see who had called her. She had been alone this entire time. This was a dream, it had to be. She had rationalized that when she first got here. But it was her dream. So who was here with her?
As soon as she turned around, she felt like the breath was knocked from her lungs. "Pedro?" She asked, her voice trembling.
Was it really him? It looked like him. But...he was different. He was like them. Like the others. Fur and fangs and all of that. A lion maybe? He certainly had the mane to match. It was practically bursting from his shirt, barely able to fit. The fur, which looked to cover his arms as well, traveled up his jawline and towards his cheeks. His hair seemed...fuller, almost. And while he smiled with his lips shut, she could see the sharp canines peeking from beneath his lips. Ears, lion ears, were perched on the top of his head, swiveling towards her. His tail flicked behind him as he stepped closer.
"Alma," he said quietly. "It's nice to see you again."
"Pedro? W-What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I should be asking you that," Pedro said. "I've always been here. Around. But you aren't supposed to be here."
"What do you mean?" Alma looked around. "What is this place."
"A limbo of sorts. Not between life and death, though," Pedro circled Alma before stopping in front of her once more and smiling warmly. "Between humanity and the curse. Happens to all of us."
"You aren't making any sense, Pedro," Alma said, concern lacing her voice.
Pedro didn't say anything more. He just gently grabbed her hand. She hadn't realized what he was doing at first, but it dawned on her once he rolled down her sleeve. She was confused, honestly, he really wasn't explaining anything. It wasn't until she looked down, following his gaze.
Feathers. Lots of feathers. Mostly brown and tan, a few black and gray ones. She flinched, pulling back from Pedro, not out of disgust but shock. Her other hand touched them, smoothing them down. She could see more feathers peeking underneath her other sleeves. Her whole body suddenly shudder and felt something...open on her back. She turned around. She actually spun herself around trying to see behind her.
"A-Are those wings?! Who's are those?!" Alma shrieked, grabbing at Pedro. He laughed, obviously amused. Not at her, though. Never at her.
"They're yours," Pedro said, but Alma was shaking her head no. "They're like Felíx's. Well...his are closer to a parrot's, I suppose."
"Felíx has wings?!" Alma screamed even louder. If she was able to faint again, she probably would have.
"Yes, you'll see when you wake up. They're worried for you," Pedro thought for a moment. "As a matter of fact, you should get to waking up any minute now."
"W-What? Wait, What's happening? What do you mean? Pedro!" Alma could see his slowly fading from her vision. Her hair floated around her body and she felt her feet leave the ground. Pedro was waving to her gently. He looked content. "Pedro...?"
"It's time to wake up, Alma. You maybe be cursed, but you aren't alone," Alma's vision finally blacked out as she began to wake up, but not before she heard the last of his voice. "Not anymore."
-----
Heyyyy look at that. She's coping, in her own way. It does take her a minute to calm down when she wakes up. She doesn't know how to control her wings either and ended up breaking some stuff on her nightstand 😭 took 3 hours for Félix to teach Alma how to close them, because she kept getting frustrated. He's got the patience of a saint i swear
I was thinking, maybe no one, including Alma noticed that they changed before it just didn't present it self until they were out of the toddler stage??? Of course for the husband's nothing would've shown until after they were married, maybe over the course of a year?? Or maybe it was sudden. Idk
Artist, the first one is older, but the other two I did a few days ago. I hadn't posted them cause I hadn't finished the snippet, and that was because of my new schedule 😭

Happy Trans Day of Visibility !
Have you seen HouseBroken (2021-2023)?
Yes
Partially
No, but I've heard of it
Never heard of it
We can only hope.
(Justice League America #47)
Because i like to imagine myself as a dog or cat. Idea for housebroken
Yn is Jill's third dog (you can choose the breed). Yn is mainly in the group for the drama. Like honey, yn stops chief from doing something stupid, or at least tries to. Maybe yn's love interest is a dog who moved in the neighborhood or was adopted by Jill. Honey sometimes annoy yn with all her therapy obsession, especially when she butts in the love life.
The drawing will be late. But a edit I made for International Cat Day!
I don’t anything, I edited this.
