Notes about the their lore below!!

Simon/Slujj - He/they - Cleric - Firbolg?

Slujj in this universe doesn't even know he's an eldritch monster!! :) Slujj (or Simon, is their actual name) is the only person remaining in his family due to a hereditary curse that causes one to become a shape-shifting monster that feeds on intellect as they age. This can only be stopped through the use of a diagem or an incredibly powerful spell.

Shaman Suess adopted Simon after the massacre of her people, and eventually, Simon decided to join the infinight interns once he turned 21 (hehe...twenty one). Thankfully, he has his pet aurochs, Clay, to keep him company!! Let's hope nothing goes wrong!!

I decided to design Slujj/Simon as a combination of Clay's design and his OG one. I like to think that Simon is very humble in comparison to their antagonist, and I thought I'd try to communicate that by keeping the clothes simple. Also, his hair is kinda...gooey? Huh. That's weird, but his mom is a shrimp, so its not the strangest thing they've seen.

King Mudd Bramblecrack - He/him - Druid - Firbolg

Meet King Mudd Bramblecrack, the one and only leader of the Witherveins. Unfortunately, both of his parents died recently, and he's been taking the role as the sole leader ever since. He has been advised to marry, but any suitors or suitresses have been turned down by the monarch. (He's still an aroace king, guys, don't worry)

Remains to say that the kingdom isn't thriving, many areas have become overgrown and even abandoned due to the lack of funding towards the people and it seems that many of the animals have become aggressive towards citizens...how strange.

I decided to base Mudds design off of British Royal Attire and the corruption that comes with such power. I like to think that any characters I change in this au either become far worse in regards to their flaws or have their positive aspects reversed. Mudd's love of freedom and animals has been twisted into carelessness towards responsibility and manipulating animals and people to serve his every whim.

Fun fact! He has a crown of foxgloves, a very beautiful but poisonous flower.

Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes Inktober

Day sixteen: Alternate universe

Short explanation: Vampire au. Long explanation under the cut

Okay so! Vic Tyler was at some point bitten by a vampire, and that condition was passed down to Sam when he was born. Sam learned to deal with it as best he could growing up, but in 1973 all of his systems were completely thrown out the door, which caused a lot of issues, namely with how he gets food.

I don't wanna spoil too much because I actually plan on writing this one, so we'll just focus on Sam rn lol

One more important thing is that Sam has 3 main forms:

1, Human(ish). Like the name suggests, he looks mostly human. Classic vampire stuff, he has the fangs but not much else.

2, The Creature™. Also known as his feeding form, this form comes out whenever he eats (specifically blood). It's triggered specifically by the adrenaline to help him hunt, but in a modern setting it's more of a nuisance because he can't control when it happens so it runs the risk of putting him in major danger. This is the one pictured above, he has a bat-ish snout to sense blood, longer fangs to pierce skin better (with anticoagulant saliva to prevent blood from clotting, like all vampire bats have), bigger ears and a sort of torn up mouth that I drew a better picture of here (transcript of my god awful handwriting below)

Bat Snoot! Not 3 mouths, 3 entrances to the same mouth, only the middle moves independently, side holes operate w the cheek muscles, moving, opening and closing with the main mouth.

Most other vampires, including Vic, also have wings in this form (bat-like ones that connect to their side from their hip to roughly the wrist) but, due to reasons he won't discuss, Sam does not.

Also he can still speak English, but can also speak in screechy chirpy tones that most humans cannot.

3, just a straight up bat. I love bats, I couldn't not do this. This one he can change into willingly, and he sometimes will for convenience or some other reason. It has all the risks that come with being a bat, though, like being small and not being able to talk.

That's all for now, but be on the lookout for this au because it's one of my favorites, so there will absolutely be more coming!!

This was originally gonna be a Bendystraw drawing but I decided against it. I drew this at like three in the morning, barely able to keep my eyes open with Funkyfrogbait saying "HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING?" in the background. I've been trying to complete the carebear collab quests or whatever they're called and nearly every run I joined didn't even make it to floor 3... Anyway!!! I LOVE POPPY SO MUCH SHE'S SO CUTE HSHSHSHDHDH and I also think Gigi's super cool so uhhhh yeah I ship them. What do you even call this? Greedypop? Poppingbet? Bubblebet? Gamblingapoppy? Gachaheadedthingthatlikesbubblepinkgirl? Idk. They're cute though. ^q^

And before anyone asks (though I doubt anyone would lol), yes, if you were behind Poppy you'd be able to see up her skirt. BUUUT she wears blue shorts with yellow and pink dots underneath so no one would see anything they shouldn't. Anyway I'm gonna go pass out because I feel really sick and like I'll throw up any second BLEEERGHSHHSHDHD
