I've been considering making a Jekyll and Hyde Gravity Falls AU. Got some ideas floating around my mind, probably gonna base it more on the musical over the book but there's gonna be some major differences.
I'm just gonna give you all a bunch of unedited rambling about my character ideas with this AU under the cut to see if any of you are interested...
Here's my ideas on who would be who:
Henry Jekyll: Ford (obviously)
Edward Hyde: Bill (somehow more obvious)
Emma/Lisa Carew: I've thought long and hard about this and unless someone can give me an idea, I'm gonna make up an oc for this spot
John Utterson: Fiddleford
Lucy (does she have a last name? EDIT: turns out yes, it’s Harris): Look, the au isn't gonna be a one to one replica of the musical so I'm thinking Fiddleford can also be Lucy. I'll die on this hill but Jekyll was 100% gay and the musical straightified him. Plus a lot of the fandom agrees him and Utterson would've liked eachother (or at least the side of the fandom.ive seen agrees with this)
Fidd will either be Utterson or Lucy probably both but if that gets messy, I'm thinking maybe Stan could work for Utterson. If not then I don't know who Stan is going to be in this. Mabel and Dipper probably won't exist and if they do, Mabel's gonna be that girl Hyde almost kills in the beginning of the book that we never see after that.
This AU is in very early stages and i have no clue what I'm doing with it yet but I've been fleshing it out whilst I've been attempting to do homework (why do they give us homework whilst we're meant to be on holidays and then told this homework will heavily affect our grades if we don't complete it. I don't want to make a poster on the biophycosocial model in my free time)
If any of you have ideas I'd love to hear, in the mean time, I'll try to make sense of my ideas and attempt to make them understandable for other people...

OC who was originally a human hired by Fazbear to work at the Pizzaplex creating visual assets and art for their promotions and posters. Ended up befriending the animatronics and realizing they were sentient beings.
Strong moral code meant that she then began trying to help the Animatronics get freedom and be recognized as sentient citizens.
Fazbear does not like this and when she shows no plans of stopping despite them thwarting several of her plans, they then decide to just straight up kill her.
She ends up waking up in the body of an animatronic. Specifically, the animatronic design she had started working on at the beginning of her employment just for fun. She never knew they found her doodles and started making it.

Miss Kitty is an acrobatic animatronic that was planned to originally do various acrobatic stunts and shows as well as serve as another attraction at the pizzaplex. There were also plans beginning to be put in place to have her teach beginner acrobatic and gymnastic classes to kids at the pizzaplex.
this isn't in any comprehensive order or anything bc i don't really ahve a fully realised idea
and I know these guys dont really have engaging emotional arcs in the real eddsworld but hear me out: i have ADHD and i can do what i want.
ok so basically for anyone who doesn't know you get yoinked on the infinity train and you get a number to represent how bad you are at dealing with your emotions/your traumas (/j but kinda not)
i imagined tord being pulled onto the train about a month or two before the other guys but the train decides that these guys need group therapy :/

I don't really have a lot planned out story wise, just a bunch of story beats and general reasons why they would need to be there,like:
edd's hardships working through and accepting emotions that aren't always happy/funny
tom's stubborness and alchoholism
matt's NEED to be a perfect hotboy and the way that could tie into self worth issues (and his hording problem)
and tord's incessant need to be an evil overlord when he was a born and raised comic relief (plus the fact that mayyyyybe he is being a jerk and doesn't want to admit that he feels guilty about things)
Also, i was thinking about the denizin that would kinda follow em through the train cars and while im still on the fence about this i was thinking of having this little guy from season one follow tord for a month or two becasue i think it would be funny
Matt and edd love him, tom acts neutral on the matter and tord hates him (he does not), and he would act as the ringo of the group until they can get home and edd can weep to his kitty about leaving her for so long
I was thinking about developing this into an askblog (even though itd be a little weird in the formatting and. would break the laws of the train. But concider this: it would be funny) orr like, a fanfiction or smth
i'm not sure if im even gonna go too much into deapth with it at all but we have been thinking a lot about it so fingers crossed we have the motivation :)
For the past few weeks I've been developing an idea for a story to write. This story takes place in a world populated by magical, non-human skeletons. An individual skeleton's control over their magic varies by genetic and emotional factors.
This is Oregano, a 31 year old detective, and Daisy, her deceased lover. Oregano keeps a pistol in her purse and a dagger in her boot. she keeps her personal attachments as hidden as possible, projecting a cold mask of apathy and efficiency. She loves fiercely and is afraid of her love being exploited as weakness. More details under the cut!
Oregano is an observer, always collecting information, never revealing it. she knows how to ask misleading questions, what to say to get a person to open up to her. eveyone describes her as a fantastic listener, but no one who calls themselves her friend can really claim to know anything about her. An enigma. A shadow. a woman made of shadow and mist.
9 years ago Daisy was murdered. Oregano was investigating a group of surgeons with connections to an organized crime syndicate. When they found out she was sticking her nose where it didnt belong, the organization sent a hitman after Daisy. After this incident, Oregano raises towering walls around herself, and she begins to see the world differently.
Now she believes that to love something is to endanger it. to allow herself to care for something means to put an expiration date on it. her job is dangerous, the world she has chosen to live in is unstable and horrific, and to fight for what she believes in puts her at risk of death constantly. this risk, she thinks, is worth it. this choice, she thinks, is mine to make. love can be a powerful motivator, she knows from experience, but one that can be taken from you all to easily. she won't let herself rely on love for motivation, or for strength. she won't let her power be taken from her.

Do you think that sunny would get other social medias? Like just to follow his friends and stuff?
You know I never could have figured that social media would be the headcanon that took off (I figured it would be either Hero exorcizing Mari’s ghost or Sunny being a crow) but yk what I’m digging it!!!
I don’t see Sunny as like getting other social medias, he just searches up his friends in the browser. He might make an account where he can lurk, but that would be about it 😂😂😂 Sunny does start to post his art on his twitter though after his friends encourage him to!
