larry youtubing au headcanons(or blurb idk) based on a conversation i had a couple weeks ago 

harry is the adorable baker/style expert/spoken word poet who wants his viewers to “find happiness in everyday life” and other philosophical cliche stuff

louis is the social activist/gamer/pop culture king who plays horror and survival games while discussing the impact of pop music in modern culture

both harry and louis sing when they’re baking/playing games

they start out as individual youtubers

but move in together after a couple months worth of casual banter and “if you’re not going to send me cake i’m inviting myself over"

they harmonise when they are doing said activities together

louis steals strawberries from the fruit bowl when harry is filming a mixed fruit cake video

harry walks in on louis playing five nights at freddy’s and ends up screaming and running out of the room 

“harold that was barely a jumpscare" 

louis and harry playing outlast together and harry screams and buries his face into louis’s shoulder at a jumpscare 

louis wrapping his arm around harry and consoling him by saying “you okay there love" 

"lou do you think the zombies would like some pastries" 

"they eat brains not pastries hazza" 

absentmindedly referencing each other during livestreams. example:

 "my favourite recipe? you know, my mum taught me this one about marshmallow cheesecakes once, louis’s favourite. he always scrapes off the frosting though, strange lad" 

"and it is really curious how people underestimate style playing into pop culture, as if it’s not as important as other cultural elements–harry agrees with me on that one though. he’s really passionate about it, working with the industry, he cares a lot about it and–where were we, again?" 

 harry narrating something that happened a few weeks earlier when louis calls out from inside the apartment, "harry, i made a sandwich”

 harry taking the camera to the kitchen where louis has made a complete mess but is standing proudly looking at the sandwich 

“well done boo bear!" 

harry teaching louis how to cook and holding! him! while guiding his arm!

being told they sing really good by their viewers and eventually covering songs with each other while experimenting with their sound

fonding when the other hits a high note or a particularly difficult verse 

serenading each other with love songs 

"so this is a song we wrote together, it’s called perfect and we hope that you like it”

starting a band with liam and niall, the pop rock singing duo with a couple million subscribers

but anyway

“oh my, they’ve got amazing manip skills”

 "and the fanfictions! some of them are graphic, but they’re well written”

“y'know, you people genuinely think me and harry are in a relationship, and, um”

“well, we are. we’re genuinely in a relationship, and couldn’t be happier about it”
