I can't recollect when and where I saw it but the image and the caption isn't leaving my mind. It is a photograph of an old couple probably in their 70s walking through a busy street. It is captured on a landscape angle where everyone else is seemingly on a wild rush, so typical of the market place. However this lovely couple seems to be in a slowed down state, as if they've nowhere to reach and the body language clearly spoke as if romance is in the air, the tender, soft form of love expressed through a touch. Now here comes the bomb caption given by the blogger:
"how many times did they had to forgive one another to have acquired a love like this..."
Yes, I would wish to have a lifetime or even an eternity, if that's what it takes for me to learn to love you in the right way. Through trial and error, to rise up after every fall, to transcend out of my own personal failings and to come back each time with a greater zeal and vigour to love someone in the most enlivening manner. Love never gives up, that's what my life must be all about...
