Hello! I hope you're all doing well.

I'm so, for the most part, but unfortunately the last few months I've had to lend a hand to my parents (who are both retired) due to a lot of big spendings happening all of a sudden: a couple of major house repairs (roof replacement included), as well as medicines, which are very expenssive. I live in Argentina, where the economy is unfortunately disasterous.

So yeah. Opening these to help myself reach the end of the month! These are simple and I can draw them very quickly, I also want to make them affordable: They'd be $20 for flat colors, and $ 25 with a simple shading as shown above.

I can do animals and humans/humanoids. payment method can be Paypal or Western union.

I know I'm not active anywhere as much as I used to (even though I have so much left to archieve, will go back to that as soon as I can!), but it really is lack of time more than anything else - and every social media site feeling super unstable all over... I feel I can never catch up anywhere haha.

Here you can see a few examples with my own OCs! Guyra, Resolana (from my novel Canallas), Sol (from ClarOscuro), the young Vizcacha and Fig, the burrowing parrot from Awka.

I will update both my comics soon!

Flocking

You know, like a bird

So maybe I’m a morning person? Either that or I am just very easily awaken by very noisy Canadians. Maybe a combination of the two.

I ventured out onto the marshland again today after breakfast. There are so many birds. SO many. I am still not sure how birds in large flocks decide to fly. If you have ever seen birds flocking I’m sure you know what I am talking about. There is a form of dance improvisation known as flocking that I have had the privilege of trying. It involves a group of people who basically have to synchronize their movements in order to always face the same direction. There is tons of movement, but everyone always faces the same way. This exercise is very exhilarating as you have to learn to trust the people surrounding you and sometimes you have to take the leap to lead.

I went on a guided hike where I got to learn more about some of the plant life the exists in Palo Verde. Because this is a dry forest, many of the plants have to adapt to survive without water for half of the year. These adaptations make much of the plant life very unique. Screeches that disrupted our serene hike alerted us to a pair of scarlet macaws flying overhead. Our guide (and both of my professors) was very excited as they don’t usually fly so close. I was able to see the brilliant colors such as the yellow, blues, and, of course, the brilliant red.

The view at the end of the hike was spectacular. The trail, aptly named “La Roca” ended on a very jagged rock face where you could see far and wide across the Palo Verde national park. I don’t believe my words alone would do it justice. Unfortunately, the threat of rain (that, again, never came) and the fact that there were some mountains in the way disrupted the view of the sunset.

After dinner, I was able to spot some peccaries, which is like a wild pig-like animal. They were foraging outside of the dining room on the many fruits a troop of (very loud) howler monkeys dropped during the day. It’s almost incredible how many species I have been able to see already, I am just hoping that I don’t take this novelty for granted.
