AHhhhh stories!  Storytelling!  One of my goals in life is to be a good story teller.  I give myself a 10 years to develop this craft to a point where I feel like I’ve succeeded.

Story is king, keys to storytellying

The story is golden, king, all that matters. A story is at the top of a pyramid that is filmmaking. 

Not sure if there is a formula to storytelling. Find something that the audience is interested in and then share it in a way that they are also interested in. The only way to get better at these things is by doing it over and over. - Casey Neistat

One thing that all TED talks have in common? The number one task as a speaker, your task is to transfer your idea to the listener.An idea can be defined as a pattern of information that helps you understand and navigate the world.  1. You might want to limit your talk to one major idea. Have context, share examples, make it vivid. Everything you say should link back to it. 2. Give listeners a reason to care. Main tool - curiosity. Intriguing, provocative questions. 3. Build the idea out of concepts that the audience understands. Use metaphors. 4. Make the idea worth sharing. Ask who it serves. Brighten up somebody else’s day, change the perspective for the better or inspire to do something differently. You might just have an idea that is a gift. -  Chris Anderson
