nerd marauders (hear me out)
the marauders were all massive nerds and i live by this.
james potter loved school. he loved learning. more than anything (except maybe lily)
sirius black was a music geek
remus loved reading and also was more into school than the others (sans james)
he would literally read all day
like a real bookworm
but oh my god the slumps
when he was in a reading slump he'd get all moody and grumpy
(and sirius will be all moody and grumpy bc remus is moody and grumpy and won’t kiss him damn it!!!)
and maybe wouldn't read a single book for a whole month
and then he'll get his motivation back
and go through like 8 books in a month
which is probably weak, but cut him some slack
he just got out of a slump
back to sirius' music
he loves classic rock especially
if you played the first two seconds of a ramones song
he could tell you instantly what it was
(and where it was recorded, what year, what album and what track number)
he's a walking library of music
but he loves it
because its the one thing his parents can't take from him
ruin for him
they don't know shit about anything outside mozart or beethoven or whatever
they can't touch sid vicious, or joey ramone, or billy corgan
james' passion lies in transfiguration
figuring out the intricacies, the incantations, the wand movement
(not to say he isn't amazing at all other subjects, he is, he just loves transfiguration)

they deserve it
