I feel exactly the same! I've only read tfios and loved it but i had to stop half way through an abundance of kathrines cause it just wasnt doing anything for me. I love all their videos and themselves as people so much though and im optimistic for paper towns which'll be my last book of the year. how's the christmas season going?

good! I’m going for some last minute christmas shopping a bit later! I made a cute mini santa claus out of clay and I’ve finished the present for the secret santa thing :)

not long now. i've just started your gift but im worried its going to be late since i thought i would have internet access over the weekend and i didn't ): but im curious... are you a nerdfighter?

It depends on what you mean by a ‘nerdfighter’. I absolutly love John Green (as well as Hank) as a person - he’s incredibly intelligent and goofy and widely cultural, their videos are both instructive and funny, I love the excitement while talking about subjects they like,the speed and enthusiasm that make you almost as excited as they are and always leave you wanting to learn more about whatever it is. As an author, however, I’m afraid he might not be a favorite.

I have only read TFIOS, Paper Towns and Let It Snow by him, but I do not have much curiosity in reading anything else, unless something really eye catching is to be published.

And even though I enjoyed every single one of those books, I didn’t think they were worth all the hype they were given. TFIOS made me sob, obviously. However…I don’t think it was something out of this world. It’s a cancer love story that yes has some relatively philosophical deep moments that makes you question your existence and gratitude towards the life you have, relying in emotional attachment to characters as ephemeral as the book itself, with a story too simple and a theme too much seen to be anything of new to me.  

I tried the other two, and the problems remained. The love stories, with those meh endings, the almost detached very simple writting. Even in Let It Snow, his was the story I liked the least. 

It is just my opinion though :)

Secret Santa! Wow, can I just say that I am so sorry for being absent? You deserve a much better secret santa than me. I can't make things either :'( Anyway, I plan to still love you after Christmas is over, so many that can be my gift? I am so sorry. About the fanmix, I would love to put one together! You just have to tell me all you possibly can about Lily to help me out. :) x.

Love is always a wonderful gift. 

              I'm sorry this is a lateish reply, I've been busy too          with all sorts of pre-Christmas stuff ! It's a crazy time          of year, isn't it ? It's one of Lily's favorite too. All the          giving and spirit of love makes her very bouncy. She          tends to go all out on the decorations.
