Finally bed time. Which means uninterrupted play/paint time. I do not like politics. All the lying and cheating and disrespect really bother me. But I could just feel a shift in the air today. An unsettlment for sure. Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye. I must have made a promise I couldn't keep when I was a kid. I've been going to a retina specialist for the past few years, trying to take care of fluid build up in my left eye. I've had to get a number of injections right in the eyeball, and it's as gruesome as you can imagine. They clamp your eye open, swab the eye and surrounding area with iodine, then put a paper sheet with an eye hole on your face. They give you numbing drops beforehand, but I always feel the pinch of the needle anyway. And yet, I know there are worse things in life.
