what if drew met romeo? sort of a new mini series i’m doing drawing &j cast members as their characters from the show I first saw them in interacting with their role in &j! first one i’m posting is of liam pearce who I first saw as drew in how to dance in ohio and now plays romeo in &j. It’s been so cool to get to see him as two of my favorite characters from two of my favorite musicals. I wanted to draw his romeo showing drew the fun sensory feeling of the gems on his jacket because as an autistic person I love doing the same thing with my own jacket. we’ll see how many of these I actually get done but I have a lot of ideas for future ones so stay tuned!

how to dance in ohio is actually so personal to me bc i never got to go to a school dance or prom or anything (by lack of circumstance, just how they describe it in the musical), it's very healing to see people like me get to experience it
