Can you tell I’m not a fan of drawing lips? <3
Sanders Sides Human AU with Intrulogical where Logan is a new teacher in school who always excuses his mistakes, messy work, and being late, by telling something about Remus.
“I’m sorry for not grading your papers on time. I had to take Remus to the hospital. He fell off the tree… Like an idiot he is.”
“I know my handwriting on this notes is all over the place. I apologize. Remus fell asleep on my lap when I wrote them and I, figuratively, didn’t have a heart to wake him up. He was very tired and looked so lovely and peaceful.”
“Sorry for being late again…” The group he teaches is like: “…what did Remus do this time…?” “…he knocked my alarm clock off the nightstand and it smashed in the middle of the night, so I didn’t even know it’s not working.”
---
Until finally, one day, the group notices that Logan has a new ring on his finger and they ask him some questions about it, because he seems more happy and enthusiastic (in his toned down, calm way) than normally. It doesn’t take much for Logan to just giddily blurt out: “Remus and I got engaged!” Because he’s too full of emotions (ugh) to just keep them all inside… But instead of congratulations and cheers he is met with about 30 pairs of wide, unblinking eyes.
Finally someone says: “…but… but Remus is a cat…”
Apparently, throughout the entire year, Logan has not mentioned, even once, that he is talking about his, very much human, boyfriend (now fiancé), not a wild and chaotic pet that makes his life more difficult that in needs to be.
So he tries to clarify: “No, he’s not. Remus’s my boyfr… fiancé.”
Which clarifies nothing, because the class remembers so much about Remus and it just doesn’t add up.
“But he bit you once… you were in class with a bandage on your hand.” Logan’s like: “That was an accident. Also, he’s very weird, so it’s not unusual for him.” It seems like a lame excuse, so they continue the investigation. “But you said, you found him in a trashcan.” And Logan just nods. “Yhm… yeah, I did. I was throwing out the trash and he was looking through the bags for something to add to his newest sculpture about rotten morality. He’s an artist. I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned that at some point.” (he hasn’t)
They go back and forth like that for a few minutes until one of the students realizes that they actually heard about the artist Logan is talking about and after a quick search through his social media they find a confirmation that the guy not only exists, but also proposed to his partner a few days ago.
---
From this day Logan always plays a one-sided secret game with all the new groups he teaches to check how many things he can say about Remus without his students realizing, that he’s not in fact a wild animal he illegally keeps at home. Some people thought he was a racoon, some believed he’s a half-domesticated cat. Hardly anyone assumed he’s human.
Most new groups don’t realize the truth until the very end of the year when Logan invites Remus to talk about his job while he sits next to him and enjoys the look of slow realization on people’s faces. (Older students play this game along helping Logan with keeping the illusion that the Remus who jumps out of the windows, scratches the couch, and likes to eat weird things he’s not supposed to eat is actually their teacher’s beloved husband.)
I know it’s been way too long since the last Sanders Sides episode when 1/3 of the blogs I followed change fandoms, change usernames and icons, become inactive, or disappear.
Logince is a great ship because Logan is a very stupid smart person while Roman is very smart stupid person. They complete each other in every way.
When they are together, they can be either the most oblivious, dumb individuals you’ve ever met, a pair of unbeatable geniuses, or any mixture of both which is always delightful.
---
Logan fell in love with the obnoxious prince when he realized that he’s in fact pretty intelligent and can use his brain, when it’s necessary.
Roman fell in love with the arrogant teacher when he realized that he’s in fact a hopeless dumbass in disguise.
It’s their idea of a date.
Also it’s a picture for my own Sanders Sides related anniversary, because I’m almost sure I’ve discovered this series on 26th on January :D (I mean... Remus didn’t exist back then. But let’s ignore that.)

[Dialogue under cut]
HC for Janus
We all know that Logan has some problems with understanding slang and more obscure cultural references. But he’s actively trying to learn more about them even if that does not come naturally to him.
So I propose a headcanon that Janus is actually the side who’s the most out of touch when it comes to the contemporary vocabulary, trends, and memes. He’s classy and old-fashioned, so he never felt like this kind of language would be appropriate for him and therefore he avoided it in general. It’s just not his style.
But now, that he's going to be invited into group discussions more often he’ll probably discover that all the sides and Thomas communicate in a way he himself barely comprehends. He’s so bad at it that even Logan feels mildly embarassed trying to explain “the language of the internet” to him :D
Janus: He... murders?
Logan *dying inside and covering his face to not laugh*: Janus, you really cannot replace “slay” with “murder” in this context... Please stop.
(Bonus points for Loceit bonding over their mutual confusion caused by slang.)
