INCREDIBLES 2 (2018) dir. Brad Bird
I have an overall headcanon where the flashback scene in Onward takes place 10 years ago where Barley was 9 years old and Ian was 6 years old!!!
I also tend to imagine, headcanon-wise, that 9-year-old Barley's voice sounds like Huck Milner:
and 6-year-old Ian's voice sounds like Jacob Tremblay:
😉😉😉
The Incredibles 2 (2018):
“ The Incredibles hero family takes on a new mission, which involves a change in family roles: Bob Parr (Mr Incredible) must manage the house while his wife Helen (Elastigirl) goes out to save the world (IMDb Description). “
I’m surprised that it took me a while to finally watch this movie. I adore the first movie so much, so my hype for this one should have been huge. Honestly, my hype for sequels is never big, specially because the second movie tends to be decent, in comparison to the first one, but not incredible (pun intended). It’s a solid sequel. The characters are amazing, the villains are forgettable, the story has potential for something better, and the animation is on point. This movie could have been so much better. It has everything it needs to succeed, except a decent story.
This is a Movie Health Community warning. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies, and does not reflect the quality of the film itself.
Incredibles 2 has multiple scenes using an extremely intense strobe light to hypnotize characters. These sequences come without warning, and last anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes at a time. These scenes play critical roles in the story. The end credits also include the same strobe effects, even once the high-octane stylized credits are over.
The motion in this film is on par with other superhero films, including this one’s predecessor. There is flying, high speed chasing, and some underwater sequences.
Flashing Lights: 10/10. Motion Sickness: 8/10.
ADMIN NOTE: Without a doubt, this film is extremely problematic with its use of strobe lights. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to sign and share our petition to Disney and Pixar, asking them to issue an epilepsy warning for this film.

Love this poster.
Family Photo (with Uncle Lucius)
IT’S ACTUALLY BEEN 24 HOURS SINCE I SAW “INCREDIBLES 2″
OH MY GOD. WOW IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT.
EASILY THEIR BEST SEQUEL SINCE TOY STORY 3.
I COULDN’T STOP SMILING WATCHING IT. I STILL HAVEN’T.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS MOVIE IF YOU LOVE THE FIRST ONE.
It’s loaded in humor, and there’s also more evident commentary in this one. I think Brad Bird did this because he knew the initial audience has aged up, but nevertheless it still hasn’t lost its universal appeal.
Kids will love this but please, do not bring your children if they are younger than ten years old. Not because it’s scary for them, but it’s to be considerate for those who were already alive and saw that movie in its initial run on theaters and home video. Bring them in the second week. We don’t want our first experience to be ruined by some kid crying who isn’t Jack-Jack.
PIXAR HAS BLESSED US. FOURTEEN YEARS WAS WORTH THE WAIT BUT I DON’T WANT TO WAIT ANOTHER FOURTEEN YEARS IF BRAD BIRD DECIDES TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE.
