#huge!!!

Okay. So, um... Funny story...

Volume 7 came in. It looks great. But, uh…

...It's huge. (Genuine mistake on my part, honestly.) ^^; So the thing is, this thing is beautiful. And some part of me wants to release big versions of all the books. Obviously, I would still offer the normal size versions too (because my autism will scream at me if I put a huge book next to six little ones), but I gotta ask, would people be interested in this as an option? Of course, I don't expect everyone to double dip for bigger versions of each book, but I would be interested to hear the opinions of those who don't have books yet.

I am also planning to release in-color digital eBook versions too.

Obviously, 1-6 will take a little extra time either way. But all potential versions of Volume 7 will release at the same time.

Host: Do you use the iPads a lot on the bench?

DB: I did. I actually did in junior. And then when I started working with a mental performance coach and stuff, I barely touch the iPad anymore.

Host: Do you?

DB: Yeah. It's hard. It's hard at times.

Host: Because you wanna grab it.

DB: Oh, yeah. You're so tempted. And I think, like, honestly, it'd probably be best if they just removed them. I get the reason they have them on there. But I was looking at them too much growing up in junior, we had them.

Host: Every shift coming off.

DB: I found that as games went on, I was starting to legit use it after every shift. And I started working with a mental performance coach and we took a deeper dive into some other things. And that was one thing I completely cut out of my game.

And it helped me forget about my shifts. Because when you see it on an iPad mid-game and you're heated about that moment or the past shift, and you watch it after, I found that it's imprinted in my brain. And then it might linger on to the next shift. So that was something I completely cut out growing up, which I found huge.

Host: Just play the game?

DB: Yeah, just play your game.

Host: Well, get involved too though, right? Do you find you're more engaged in what's going on on the ice at that time?

DB: 100%. And you're more engaged on the bench too. I feel like, yeah, when you go on the iPad, you're kind of just tuned out and you're in your own little world. And hockey's a team game.
