As the SnowBarry shipper I am I thought I’d Basically map out a timeline of what the relationship would be like through the first 4 seasons
Like going upon the Seasons I’d just love to see how their relationship would’ve grown
Season 1
With Caitlin’s recent loss of Ronnie and Barry becoming Flash and basically having to come to terms that the girl he’s loved his entire life isn’t the woman he supposed to be with only leads Barry and Caitlin into each other. They not only grow as friends but something more and right when it seems like they’ll get together Ronnie returns no leaving Barry and Caitlin at another roadblock with their feelings
Season 2
With Ronnie truly gone, And Barry comes to terms with his feelings for Iris Barry and Caitlin now start the process of beginning to admit their feelings. They have a little back and forth banter some teases here and there but still they feel it’s too early. But right when they think they’re ready Jay/Zoom enters creating a love triangle in a way. (Man imagine how interesting that would’ve been) eventually though with Jay’s reveal I feel like Barry and Caitlin’s relationship would’ve been finally made and made the threat of Jay even more personal with Barry AND best of all the introduction of Killer Frost which…man I’ll get to that point later cause to me Killer Frost makes SnowBarry even more interesting and entertaining imo
Season 3
With Barry and Caitlin finally together they navigate the stardom of their relationship. With this being Caitlin’s First relationship post Ronnie and Barry’s first real love minus his flings with Patty, Linda, etc etc. with the effects of Flashpoint and Caitlin’s change with A’s Killer Frost. Both Barry and Caitlin find that being in a relationship was easier said than done (not only with the effects of flashpoint and Killer Frost but with the effects of Obviously savitar). But I would find that the most interesting thing is the addition of Killer Frost. The moral Dilemma Barry would be facing having to fight her. Having to fight Caitlin would be so angsty and than when the season ends with Barry going into the speedforce right when he and Caitlin figure out their feelings….man
Season 4
With Barry and Caitlin’s relationship the strongest and Barry coming back creating the bus metas I believe that this would be the time that Barry has to confront his feelings with Frost. When I said she’s what personally makes SnowBarry interesting this is it. Adding Killer Frost to Barry and Caitlin’s relationship makes it more complex. With Barry wondering if his feelings for Frost is the same with Caitlin’s. If it’s even ok to have feelings for Frost. Also it leaves Frost to have more of a self discovery arc on what she wants earlier. How Caitlin and Frost not only have to share the same body but same man. Only leading to her “death” being more devastating as right when Barry and Frost come to terms with their relationship he looses her all too fast
Nothing I wrote a lot believe it or not this was honestly a shower thought turned discussion
Anyway that’s all just something I wanted to point out and all cause I love this ship so much and just the many ways you could write it lol
