HEAVY Kamala Khan and Bruce Banner fluff. Including her three other “dads” and badass mom
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know I started a new side blog! I just finished the Marvel’s Avengers game and I fell in love with the incredibly touching (albeit short) story that the campaign had to offer. So if you played the game or like Ms.Marvel check it out!
School has been rough and I’ve had a lot on my mind but I’m gonna try to be more active.
Love you all! Stay safe! ❤️
I don’t every time get what I want
This scene in Avengers MCU really a gets me. When I was playing the game, I remembered this scene in the movie and it made Bruce & Kamala’s relationship so much more important. A guy who’s wanted a family, still struggling to come to terms with the fact he can’t have his own, and then meeting this bright, bubbly girl separated from her own family because someone told her she was sick and violent.
Cap asked Bruce if it was Kamala making him happier and Natasha pointing out that he’s “taken a shine” to her, like come on, that’s his breath of what could’ve been. She has caused such a large change to his overall demeanor that even his teammates see a change in him.
For me I LOVE Irondad/Spiderson! Love it love it love it! But... Tony also went on to have a family of his own as well. So for me, Bruce becoming a mentor had such a deeper impact because he can’t have kids and he found a way to do good by someone, not as the Hulk, but as himself. I think Kamala touches that parental side of Bruce that he thought he had to abandon, without completely overwhelming him. She needed the support just as much as he did and the two characters just came together perfectly in the story.
Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect Luna Lovegood
Natasha: What is Kamala to you?
Bruce: She’s the reason I get up in the morning
Natasha: Aw, so sweet
Kamala, earlier that morning bursting into Bruce’s room with the fire alarms blaring in the background, screaming: WAKE UP WAKE UP THE SCIENCE LAB IS ON FIRE AGAIN BRUCE WAKE UP WAKE UP-!
Bruce: C’mon guys, nobody thinks Kamala is my daughter
Tony: *turns to the Avengers* Put your hand up if you thought Kamala was Bruce’s daughter
The Avengers: *puts their hands up*
JARVIS: *holographic hand appears*
All the SHIELD agents aboard: *hands up*
Bruce: Kamala, put your hand down!
Another wonderful incorrect quote submitted by @chess-blackfyre 😊
Bruce, teaching Kamala how to drive: Okay kiddo, you’re driving and Tony and I walk out in front of you. Quick, what do you hit?
Kamala: Oh definitely Tony. I could never hit you
Bruce: ...The brakes, Kamala. You hit the brakes
