Aliens and Human Relationship HCs Part 5

Alright, let's get this party started, you know the drill and proper first post of 2023, three months late :D

some aliens have very good manners and are very charming and drink their respect juice which make them top candidates for love

problem is there are others who have similar traits and misuse these traits for personal gain

another thing is some qualities must be desirable on some planets but not on others

but now that got me thinking what if some alien out there is all alone and has significant other because they possess qualities which are not valued in their home society

so they leave and maybe meet a human? maybe meet an alien? maybe meet both and fall in love with both? take this as you wish

whatever the outcome of falling in love is, humans will show support in any kind of way they know how or in their own unique way.

introverts of all races make small gestures or slow down or even just listen to their significant other and enjoy doing that

extroverts of all races make big gestures and take care of their s.o in whatever situation

it's a black cat and golden retriever situation but not for all cases.

Friendships

Friendships really have all sorts of directions and that is why i wish i had friends lmao

really polar opposites make great friends but you know what else makes really good friends?

your mum okay, no, but really the friends that treat you amazingly no matter what and respect you? Those guys are great and latch onto them like a facehugger because they are precious.

Just I feel like friendships between aliens and humans definitely are all sorts of strangeness.

You have the opposites attract, the introverts, the extroverts and so on

Some alien species may have a culture that centres more around solitude and the individual rather than other cultures that are very communal resulting in way different friend groups formed

Does anyone remember the times where you just approached people and became friends with them like at the playground. Very old nostalgia I know but still remember that?

yes hello i have a question. what do u think aliens (in a very general sense, no type of alien in specific) would think is the most intriguing part about nature? like the ocean, animals, forests, etc. idk its a weird question but i figured that since u like human/alien relations, it'd be best to ask u

I’d like to think it’s a mixture of animals interacting with their environments rather than just one set thing, but I’d also think that aliens would go absolutely bonkers with ocean exploration once they found out we know more about our own moon than our oceans. Think about it…

After a while, an alien race would become bored of just earth animals by themselves, as most of them tend to function the same despite being physically different. Ie. most animals either eat other animals or eat plants. Some have beaks while others have teeth. Some have feathers while others have fur.

It gets boring after a while and turns into, “Human Nathan, the animal you just discovered doesn’t have fur? Well what does it have? Feathers? Scales? There are not many options for Earth fauna.”

So aliens probably enjoy watching said animals interact with their environments because that’s different. A grizzly bear and a sun bear both have huge teeth and claws, but a grizzly bear uses them for killing animals and ripping open carcasses, while the sun bear uses them for digging up termite mounds.

But… as I said, I’d like to think that aliens would be huge ocean and marine biology nerds.

Xalrok of the Tristarian-5 star system was watching as marine biologists studied their oceans with a tiny little remote controlled robot that takes samples and video. Already within the span of two hours did they find at least 5 new species of fish. At first, Xalrok was impressed that the Earth oceans were evolving so quickly as for humans to be discovering new things every day. No planets in the Tristarian-5 star system was evolving so fast!

But then marine biologist Janice said something to Xalrok that amazed the alien.

“Earth isn’t evolving at some ridiculously fast pace, Xalrok. We humans just don’t know many things about our oceans. We know more about our moon and sun than our oceans.”

“But how could that be? Your oceans are in your proverbial backyard while it costs your kind millions of dollars to simply send a satellite into space?” Xalrok questioned.

Janice laughed. “Xalrok, our oceans have far too much pressure for us to simply swim into, even with diving gear. If a human goes too far down and rushes back up to the surface, we get a sickness called “the bends” and have to be locked in a pressurized chamber for hours before we’re better. And even then, the pressure could kill us let alone if a hungry sea creature doesn’t first! We send robots to survey our oceans for us so we don’t have to put lives at risk.”

Xalrok, without missing a beat, immediately responded with, “My kind’s science department shall help fund your ocean exploration as we have already discovered almost everything about our planet’s flora and fauna. Our science department is practically overflowing with unused currency. My comrade, Xylk, who is currently obsessed with your Earth forests and creatures called “deer”, does not know what they’re missing.”

“Just wait until you see the deep ocean; we’re still currently only in the mesopelagic zone. You thought woodlouse were bad? There are giant versions of them called “giant isopods” at the bottom of the ocean. There’s fish that glow and have needle-like spiny teeth everywhere. There’s sharks that look either like ghosts or like literal goblins. Giant squids that can grow up to 14 metres long and a lot more we don’t even know about.”

The alien stared back at Janice. “Earth Scientist Janice, I would like to see these underwater volcanoes and needle-teeth fish. Squids are the ones with eight tentacles, yes?”

“No, those are octopuses. Squids have ten tentacles. Well… technically they have eight arms and two longer tentacles bu-”

“Squids have eight arms?”

“Not human arms, Xalrok.”

Human: What?! What? What’s wrong??

Alien: Won’t you die if you eat those things?

Human: ....peanuts?

Alien: Yes, I was made aware by the Lieutenant consuming them was lethal.

Human: Huh? Oh, no! They just have allergies! It’s fine. *noms*

Alien: Indeed, we completed our mission, this system has been saved from certain doom, Human-Steve shall we bump fists as it is customary on your homeworld during a triumph?!

Human: Yeah, sure man!

Alien: *accidentally breaks human-steve’s fist* I do enjoy the human culture 

Human: (weakly and in pain from broken hand) i’m so glad.
