These posts are like, "What steps does your brain do to compute 27 + 48?" And people are listing out multiple steps when I just glance at it and say 75. This is why I hated math class, because I just naturally understood it, and I know that's a gift or whatever, but quit telling me to show my work. I literally have to cheat on the "show your work" part.

दुनिया का सबसे तेज Human Calculator

नीलकंठ भानु प्रकाश ने हाल ही में 21 वर्षीय शकुंतला देवी का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा और ‘विश्व का सबसे तेज Human Calculator’ का खिताब जीता। भारत के लिए माइंड स्पोर्ट्स ओलंपियाड (MSO) में मानसिक गणना विश्व चैम्पियनशिप में पहला स्वर्ण जीतने के बाद भानू को यह खिताब प्रदान किया गया।

नीलकंठ दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के सेंट स्टीफन कॉलेज में गणित (ऑनर्स) का छात्र है। उनके पास कई विश्व रिकॉर्ड हैं, जिसमें सबसे तेज मानव कैलकुलेटर होने के लिए 50 लिम्का रिकॉर्ड भी शामिल है। दुनिया भर में महामारी की स्थिति के कारण, ओलंपियाड 15 अगस्त को ऑनलाइन आयोजित किया गया था और 30 प्रतिभागियों ने UK, UAE और फ्रांस जैसे 13 विभिन्न देशों से भाग लिया था। भानु ने 65 अंकों की बढ़त ली, अंततः भारत के लिए गोल्ड जीता।

भानु ने “विज़न मैथ” लैब बनाने की इच्छा व्यक्त की है जो उन्हें लाखों छात्रों तक पहुंचने की अनुमति देगा। उन्होंने इस तथ्य पर भी जोर दिया कि भारत सरकार को मेंटल मैथ और माइंड स्पोर्ट्स ’में ओलंपिक स्वर्ण पदक जीतना चाहिए।

“मैं दुनिया में सबसे तेज मानव कैलकुलेटर होने के लिए 4 विश्व रिकॉर्ड और 50 लिम्का रिकॉर्ड रखता हूं। मेरा दिमाग कैलकुलेटर की गति से तेज गणना करता है। एक बार स्कॉट फ्लेन्सबर्ग और शकुंतला देवी जैसे मठ के महारथियों द्वारा रखे गए इन रिकॉर्डों को तोड़ना राष्ट्रीय गौरव का विषय है। मैंने भारत को गणित के वैश्विक स्तर पर जगह देने के लिए अपना पूरा प्रयास किया है। ”भानु प्रकाश ने एएनआई को बताया।
