“This isn’t... brand new information. I’m sure he’s very self aware and those who know him already can tell.”

She really believed, for a moment, that Richard didn’t want anything to do with her and maybe that he never loved her to begin with. She believed all the things he said, believed that her coming to find him was the most stupid thing she’s ever done— But all it took was Richard’s search for her, and she knew immediately that her momentary beliefs were very wrong.
Rex & Hailey
@hunterofpixiedust (moved & continued from x)
Rex couldn’t bite back the howls of pain that tore from deep in his chest as the opposing werewolf tightened his massive grip on his arm, sharp canines ripping through flesh and muscle, almost right down to the bone. If he wanted, Garrett could more than likely bite off his entire limb - in fact, Rex was sure that’s what he was trying to do. Not even when Rex unsheathed his claws and scratch the other’s face did his attacker let go despite now sharing the pain that he was inflicting. It was clear to Rex what Garrett’s intentions were and they didn’t bode well for him.
For a split moment, Rex actually contemplated on the possibility of sacrificing his own arm - if it meant saving Hailey...He could just hear the scolding from his old man right now, yelling at him for thinking that his own well being was worth damaging for a human. As a matter of fact, however, it had always been Rex’s belief that no one should suffer if they were innocent and he would do anything to make sure they didn’t - be it wolf or human. That was the quality of a good leader, wasn’t it? Certainly his father had other ideas.
Rex had been so wrapped up in his own thoughts, nearing a decision on whether or not to give up his own arm, he didn’t even see Hailey make her move until Garrett finally unlatched his large jaws from his body, his head snapping back in agony as he cried out. The momentary daze of the wolf gave Rex the opportunity to shove him again, harder than he had before, and as Garrett staggered the omega wasted little time in grabbing Hailey’s hand and pulling her towards the direction of the forest, following the same path he used to escort her to the diner. It didn’t take long, however, for Garrett to follow in pursuit - the knife she jammed in his shoulder sticking out still. It limited his ability to run, giving the two of them an edge, but with Rex bleeding profusely from his wound - though he could feel it beginning to mend on its own, slowly but surely - there was no way that Garrett wouldn’t be able to track them down.
Luckily, Rex knew these woods like the back of his hand.
He took Hailey to a small cave he once discovered while exploring as a pup, claiming it as his own “secret spot” where he would often go to get away from the pack for a while, if he didn’t feel like going into town. The cave was surrounded by a small creek, the water flowing from a river nearby. “Stay here,” he told the woman, his voice stern - he was still baffled that she didn’t listen to him in the first place. “I’ll draw him away - don’t move until I get back.” He was still holding her hand at this point and Rex make it a point to give it a firm squeeze. “I’ll be back.”
@hunterofpixiedust gets a cute starter too
“Oi, hold yer horses,” he offered in that characteristic irish accent of his. “Just ‘cause I said I like glitter doesn’t mean I want it everywhere-”
@hunterofpixiedust smashed for Austin ; Hailey
“What kind of ‘strange things’ do you mean, Agent?”
He tacked a promotional poster for the rendition of ‘Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street’ the local theatre would be performing soon, Austin being part of the show - the star, actually, landing the role of Sweeney Todd himself. He still couldn’t believe out of hundreds of auditions, he was chosen - this was just one more step closer to actually performing on Broadway, his ultimate goal. But he’d think about that later, right now he was concerned with an FBI Agent (who looked a little young to be an agent if one asked him, then again she could’ve just been that good so he really couldn’t say anything) asking him questions that were a little odd; questions that seemed to revolve around a world he once thought was only in fiction. But since meeting his two half-sisters, the veil had been lifted from his eyes, but he still had some difficulty believing it despite having no choice but to live in it now. Did he mention that his sisters were witches?
“Jacksonville’s a small enough town - nothing out of the ordinary usually happens here.” And it was true, as he learned how peaceful his sisters were - they just wanted to live their lives as normally as possible. He could understand that and that’s why he promised to keep their secret, especially from outsiders.
