In what style did you first start to write (First person, third person, *-style or novel-style?) Is there anything you would have changed when you started writing now that you have more experience?
In what style did you start to write (First person, third person, *-style or novel-style?)
Third person. I’ve... Dabbled in first person I think? Way back when, but not in rp, that was just a ficlet if I remember correctly. But yeah, that wasn’t what I started with and not what I primarily used. I think I only wrote in first person because it was for an... Assignment? That said it needed to be first person? Not for school exactly, but for... Something? God I can’t remember. Anyway. My personal writing has always been third person, rp especially.
There have been some use of *s mixed in every now and then for cracky stuff and the like, but not for anything important.
Is there anything you would have changed when you started writing now that you have more experience?
Uh. Hmm. Wow. I mean obviously my writing has improved over time, but I can’t remember there wouldn’t have been any major things that would’ve really stuck out? Aside from powerplaying and godmoding, but I learned my manners in a few months so I wouldn’t really count bad etiquette here either.
So aside from “remember your ergonomics I beg of you”, not really!
💡 LIGHTBULB - is your oc a planner? do they write down every small detail or just wing it?
💎 DIAMOND - how rich are they? can they live the lifestyle they want to?
💡: She does some planning; she can’t just show up to a job and expect things to go perfectly without some planning of course. For that she must be meticulous and timing is everything, so she must plan as best she can. She won’t minutely detail or preplan every moment of her life otherwise. She enjoys spontaneity, and traveling as often as she does allows for some freedoms with her spare time.
💎 : She is well paid for her work, not rich… but also not poor and homeless like she once was. Phoebe lives a comfortable lifestyle based on her income. She doesn’t want for anything, and can support her brother and herself just fine.
@huntinghare thanks for the asks 😊
how about "a kiss on the hand" for the dancing prompts~?
The clash of steel rang out, rapiers crossed as sparks fueled by simmering magic shot off and fizzled out like a miniature firework display. The swords held a moment, locked by equal strength before a quick, sharp movement parried one and sent it towards the ground. It clattered unceremoniously, kicking up a small cloud of dust as it skidded a short distance away.

Well hello there
Thank you for appreciating my man who very much wants to murder me for putting him in situations like these. How dare I.
👗 fashion taste moodboard~!
Ta~da! E'mal has a weird back and forth with his outfits tbh BUT it's all for a reason. His dancer costumes are light, flowy fabrics made with bright colors and flashy jewelry for the Dramatic Effect. Also to be appealing and alluring lowkey dresses like a slu-- His red mage-y outfits tend not to be as flowy as to not get in the way. They are still light and easy to move in to make combat more effective. Not completely though, obviously lol. He likes to be pretty and shiny <3
[ 🧸 ] does your muse keep anything sentimental? if so, what do they keep and why?
He does ;;v;; and he doesn’t tell ANYONE because he’s actually EMBARRASSED He has three things he will keep forever. One is a little plushie chocobo that his adoptive mama gave him when he was first found. He keeps it in a special pocket on the inside of his coat rdm glam He sewed a button onto it to make sure it stays shut and the plush is safe. The other two are related. One is a sunhat his adoptive father got him when he was young. He can’t wear it anymore because Big Bunny Ears but when he was young a hat for a miqo’te worked very well. He has that hung on the wall in his room next to the third thing; his first fishing pole. Another thing he can’t use anymore because it’s too small. But he remembers fishing with his father when he went on trips with his parents and he’s very Soft about that. ------------------------ Thank you for the ask ;;v;;
🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?
The only remaining objects from Baatu's childhood would not be in his possession as he left most of his belongings with his mother back in Ishgard. Old clothes do not fit him, old gear got too worn down to use, and he never had much for toys or keepsakes as he never had many things growing up. Now, if Baatu's old house got burned down with his old bedroom, of course he would feel horrible. Even if his childhood wasn't the brightest, he still had some attachments to old memories that were kept within those walls.
One of the only things Aoki holds onto are objects from his childhood and past. These keepsakes from his life are so dear to him, as if losing them would be losing the memory itself. One of the oldest keepsakes he has is an old book written by someone within his old tribe of Viera with a pressed flower native to the forest he once lived in. There are other keepsakes he stores in his small bag, but one of the most important is that book and flower. He doesn't let anyone touch his belongings in fear of them rummaging through them and damaging or stealing what is dear to him. Aoki would do anything in his power to reclaim a lost keepsake, going as far as to threaten those close to him. His fight or flight kicks in, in a bad way.
