Milton could be the deadliest disaster in Floridas history

At this point, Hurricane Dorian is either going to hit us in Florida, or it’s going to miss us slightly and hit the Carolinas. Honestly? I think i’d prefer if it just hit us. We’re prepared in Florida--especially in my area. Do we face some destruction? Of course we do, but we’re so used to it, we jump back fairly easily. We’re built for this. 

I can’t stand the idea of Wilmington and other towns on the Carolina coasts getting hit again by a cat 3/4 storm. After last years devastation (that I saw first hand driving from NY back down to FL), I am just horrified imagining what that will do to their communities, especially because this news of it hitting their area is so last minute.
