Congratulations, you've achieved: The Bad Ending.
(Alternate version under cut, TW for eyes)
whatever you do don't think about Viking surviving the winter and returning home -a home he used to share- alone. Don't think about him avoiding Apo's room and her stuff, trying to forget the fact that they died and he didn't even know, trying to forget that couldn't save her.
Hi I'm really invested in Haunted Winter now can it never end please can they suffer forever please can they save apo please
mainly watching viking's pov
Guys… I know where Apo went!
Apo’s totally fine, see? She’s just skiing. She’s just hitting the slopes to see if the candy house is there, yup.
She’s definitely having a jolly good time! Yup! She just… abandoned Viking because everyone knows that there’s no friends on snow day! Gotta be the first to shred that powder! :)
(She’s totally not in hell, literal or metaphorical, no, I’m ignoring Viking’s reblog that suggests that she’s deep down under the ground—)
Just finished watching the final episodes for Haunted Winter SMP. The dynamic between HW!Viking and HW!Apo, and everything that happened to them during their time in Haunted Winter got me thinking about the song 'Two Birds' by Regina Spektor.
I lied I did turn it into an animation (og post)
I’ve been thinking about Hw!Apo a lot,
like do we think that her hair is wet, not soaked but just wet enough to make it look darker and pull it down, freezing it in place. Is her face monochrome because the life was drained from her, can you see the ice coating her temples? Are her palms and fingers full of scratches from trying to grab shards of ice to pull herself out of the water?
Despite all this Viking sees her while freezing to death and sees his best friend? This colorless women watching him die is his roommate, and they’re both cold, if he can just get one more step he can warm them both up. Just one more step and he can take her to the cabin and theyll sit in front of the magma cubes and they’ll be warm.
But it’s not her, this ghost doesn’t have Apo’s curls, or her eyes, or her humor. It’s just an imitation, of her cold dead body. It has to die.
