Max just wanted the comfort of his parents and brother. This was a terrifying time for him. He still wasn't used to this kind of stuff happening, he hadn't been in DC long enough to see that many chaotic events. Relief washed over him at seeing his dad. "Papa! I'm so glad to see you. Have you seen dad or Rafe anywhere?"

The first place he went to check with Dorothy's home. Even after he woke up with his clothes pretty badly burned though he himself was not, he didn't think to change. The burning wasn't that bad, just some holes in his shirt. Family was his priority. Dorothy then Anne. "Dorothy. It's me. Are you home?" He knocked on the door.
she had barely sat up, her head still absolutely spinning as she registered where she was.. or where she wasn't really. having expected to wake up somewhere you were meant to sleep, and not some dingy alley, her joints popping as she adjusted. how long had she been out? it wouldn't be her first time fainting but.. this had felt different.. vi looked around, eyes landing on a large, almost looming figure next to her, red eyes meeting her own-- "woah, alright, did you... did you see what happened?" maybe he had just found her like this and was waiting to see if she was alright.. she didn't need to panic, despite the way her stomach dropped at their eyes meeting.

the unfamiliar face on the way to the white house has the witch stopping in her tracks, eyes following the woman closely. "look, you definitely aren't here to kill me, whoever was supposed to already managed that, so can we move on and each do what we need to do?"
Grace had tried so hard and so long, but the woman she was trying to save still slipped away. After a moment of apologizing, she closed the woman's eyes seconds before being startled by the sound of someone approaching. "I tried, I tried to keep her alive... I got here too late." Grace says in an emotional voice when she notices who it was. Tears lightly falling down her face as she looks down at the blood covering her hands. @vcndetta
To say Charles was desperate to find Jane and Fitzwilliam would be a gross understatement. He tries his best to remain hopeful as he searches. Finally spotting his love, he quickly races to her. "Miss Jane!" He offers her his hand to assist her to a less congested spot on the sidewalk where he could use his body to guard her. Still bowing before continuing to speak. Connor sees Veronica through the panicked crowd and fights his way through to reach her. "Veronica." He calls out as he raises his hands temporarily to show he had no weapons on him. The man hope she would trust him by now but with everything going on he wouldn't blame her for not. "I know you're a total badass and all and can handle yourself...but I was still worried about you.
