"i knew you would come, and yet somehow i'm still surprised you beat me here." considering buttercup herself was already far earlier than even she anticipated. maybe she shouldn't be entirely surprised, considering how quickly westley had responded to her.. she had been such a fool at the time, sending him away as she did.. she knew he would forgive her, but how much would she hear about it first?
