"they finally let you out of the autumn court?" helion would recognize her in a heartbeat, and yet he played it cool to keep the surprise from his voice. it truly was a work of deep magic if she was here too and not locked away wherever beron liked to hoard her.

"they didn't." eleni replies tightly, vaguely on edge even speaking to him. if beron found out she'd done so... she had no idea what he would do, how angry he'd be. "i don't know how i'm here... i shouldn't be."

she vaguely recognized the woman, she was one of the high lady of the night court's sisters, that much eleni was certain of, but she didn't recall any of the three having a child. "she's... she's lovely." any fae child was a blessing, with how difficult it often was for them to conceive, and despite how recently all three had been human, this child was clearly fae. "you're from my homeland, aren't you?"

the sight of her youngest son, directly in front of her after so long, is startling in a way she can't explain, but that lifts her spirits immediately. "lucien, what- what's going on?" she hasn't spoken to him in so long, it's almost odd to do so now.

(¸.• ♛ → "perfect, i always thought great minds think alike." she says with a small smile. issy just wanted to do some work out until she was starving and then maybe grab something to eat, she loves to do this just to stay in shape, that was part of her job. "that sounds good, then we can work out together, it is always better to do it with someone."

"sounds good to me, i'd rather have the company, if i'm honest." he was perfectly capable of being on his own, but he much preferred being around other people, it was always how he'd been.

the woman chews at her lower lip, unsure of what the best response here was. it was so rare she didn't have something to say, but this wasn't exactly a situation that made a lot of sense. "you could tell me about it. how we met and everything."

aelin doesn't answer, mulling it over for a second. she's not unkind, and though she doesn't trust him around eva, he deserves to at least be there for this. the doctors had had to confirm it six times for her, and then the ultrasound had sealed the deal and she knew she had to tell the father. looking at him for a second, she can see what she saw that night. he's handsome, in all the right ways, and deeply caring, even if she denies it to herself. breath catching, she shifts in her seat to play it off. " what role do you want to play? i'm not entirely enthused about being outnumbered by twins."

the ridiculous mix of emotions he was feeling at that moment was nearly incomprehensible to someone who'd spent so long ignoring such things. he was happy, of course he was, but the complicated situation they'd found themselves in, the pain that came with his wife not remembering him or trusting him with their eldest daughter, dulled that considerably. and the realization that they're going to have not one, but two more children only adds another layer to it all. "i will not abandon my children, nor will i leave you to handle this alone."

"you don't have to act like you're afraid of me, you know?" victoria was probably the last person renesmee would trust, but she had always liked the girl.. even if their friendship had started because she was looking to get to edward in a new way, she had grown to really like the girl. "no, i hate your parents.. your father more than anyone really. but i never hated you. just to clear the air there."

"i'm not afraid of you. i just have nothing to say to you." that wasn't true, she had so much to say, but all of it was angry, and her father had warned her how dangerous the other woman was even to a full vampire, much less a hybrid that was far easier to kill. "how do you hate my parents and not hate me? that doesn't make any sense, you were only my friend to piss them off."

"is that not what we were before?" klaus had never let it get past the title of allies, not in the way that either of them had wanted. his own desire to be free had stripped him from impulsiveness. the lies her sister had told had only sealed that decision away. "brielle, we both know that that wouldn't have worked out. i couldn't do closer, not then." maybe now, but klaus had already shot himself in the foot with that. she may profess forgiveness, but its a long road to passion from there.

"i like to think we were friends, at least." there had been something more there, but neither of them had said it out loud. there was no insecurity on her end, about it, but her own cowardice had kept her from being the one to change what they were into something else. she hadn't wanted to deal with the risk that came with admitting it, the risk that had killed her in the end, in her own defense. "that was then, and this is now. if you want that after however long it's been for you, then just be honest with yourself, and with me."

a banishment spell, maybe something stronger, but julia doesn't have the means to conduct as such right now. "my husband is of no concern to you. you're a ghost wearing my daughter's face, so be gone." keeping her voice cold, she sniffles slightly, as if the sheer notion is distasteful to her.

"...not a ghost, back from the dead, actually. but good to know you think i'd haunt you." bri snaps, crossing her arms over her chest as she stares at her mother. but the disdain her mother has at the very idea is irritating, as if brielle returning, even as a spirit, would be an inconvenience to her.

"iris?" he couldn't fully remember her name, figuring it had something to do with plants or something. it was a shot in the dark, and it sounds wrong to even say, but he doesn't find himself caring. "i walked."

"ivy, asshole." but there's no malice to her tone, an amused smile crossing her face as she speaks. "...right, okay, i meant how did you get to like... the mortal plane, not the coffee shop down the road."

hunt's smile is wide, compared to how he usually conducted himself out in public. he'd gotten up to go work out that morning but being pulled back down, he didn't resist, relaxing under the warmth of bryce. his arms wrapping around her frame. "it's early enough for the gym, actually. the sun's up already." not that it was anywhere near to fully being out but there was a little bit of sunlight outside.

her eyes are still shut, but she's quite sure his expression is amused as one leg is tossed over her mate's waist to further pin him down. he's always been amused by her antics, at least since they'd gotten their shit together. and that's confirmed when he wraps one arm around her waist rather than moving her off of him. "you can go to the gym at noon." bryce whines, purposefully sounding as pitiful as possible to get a laugh out of him.

jules let out a sigh of relief, moving to hug celine tightly. "I tried so hard to get you out, I tried everything!" she'd gone half mad trying to get the other out - but nothing had worked. "I haven't heard anyone talking about how they got here or how to get out," she paused. "but I'm so happy you're here and not trapped in that horrid place."

she easily wraps her arms around jules, pleased that the other is finally there, and she can have another familiar face around. "there was nothing to be done, it was designed to be inescapable. i'm here now, that's all that matters." celine reassures the other, shaking her head gently. "i'm quite pleased by it as well."

"ooh i'll definitely come and see. the chihuahua's have those big bug looking eyes i love." fizzarolli said, grinning in excitement. they were also a little loud, but honestly that was better for him as well. ozzie might have complained, but fizz also knew for sure that he wouldn't say no. "it's not like he'd just throw money at anything." he clarified. "but i ask he'd probably help out. some guys will just throw around money for a pretty face. i'm sure you know how it is."

another laugh slips past elphaba's lips, though it is genuinely nice to hear that someone else appreciated the dogs that a lot of people weren't much of a fan of. at least someone would show them some love. "...i haven't experienced that personally, no, but i do believe you that it happens." and it's an interesting tidbit about the man who spent so much time hanging around the place.

"nyssa," its hard, not to slip into that older brother, the one from before their father had died and han had spiraled. in the few moments he'd allowed himself to be one, to be responsible for someone else, he'd gotten weirdly good at knowing when to chide his sister. "c'mon, what did you expect?"

"han." because she knows that tone, that's the dad voice he'd annoyingly mastered really quickly. "it's the truth! she hates me, and i don't think we have anything in common." and maybe she's whining just a little bit, but what do you expect when he pulls out that tone of voice on her? "i don't know, not that."

"i think if i had met any of those aliens i wouldn't be talking with you right now. i'm probably like, the first guy who dies in some horror movies." grace said, cringing just at the idea of it. he would absolutely attempt to tell some scary movie monster a fun science fact and then get eaten like half way through it. it wouldn't even be a close chase scene. 'so i only met one, and i don't remember him super well, but they almost sounded like a musical instrument when speaking, and had echolocation. pretty cool, except their atmosphere would totally kill us and they're probably searing hot to the touch."

"i don't think you're stupid enough for that role. you might not live, but i think you'd get through at least a few kills first." the first one to die was usually a moron, but she didn't think grace had the physical stamina to fully survive in a horror movie. "oh, wow, that's really cool." she's clearly fascinated by the information, her eyes wide as she stares at him. how did you meet him?"

"wine, red wine," she'll have to be sneaky about it, but its the least unappealing drink she can think of at the moment. "when do you close, again?" it'll be easier to just follow one home, instead of playing into her usual charms and convincing one that she's into them.

"coming right up." he pulls a bottle down, filling a glass and handing it off to the woman. "another hour or so, it's pretty late to just be starting drinking." at least, she seemed sober. or was incredibly good at playing it off.

Losing her had been like losing himself . So long had gone by , ever since then , but Haymitch had never once stopped picturing what it would have been like to have her grow old by his side . To know that they would be together , just as they had planed . He hadn’t gotten any of that . All that he had were ghosts . But when he saw her face , standing right in front of him , Haymitch froze . “ Lenore Dove ? Oh , my love , I’m seeing things again . It can’t be you . “ But he marveled at the sight of her face all the same , as he always had . “ It .. I’m sorry . I’m so sorry . “

the familiar voice calling her name after so long is a massive relief, that feeling flooding every part of her as her gaze scans the people around her to lock on haymitch. but as he continues, their expression grows more and more confused, because nothing he's saying makes sense. "i- hay, what are you talking about? i'm right here, darlin', you're not seeing things." she's immediately concerned at what had been done to him in between his victory and now, stepping forward to, very slowly, as not to freak him out more, place a hand on his arm. "what on earth are you apologizing for? you did it, haymitch, you won, you showed them all up."
