The time has finally come where all of my best efforts of talking myself out of it have failed, and I’ve just ordered a tattoo gun. I’m already plotting what I want to draw on myself, but if anyone wants to put themselves forward to be my test dummies first, be my guest. I have little to no artistic skill, but, free tattoos though?

So twelve days into the New Year and I can’t say I can really complain so far. Rang it in with five of my favorite people including my two month old, which is still a mind trip. Got married, baptised said tiny human and then spent the concurrent days in paradaise with my wife. 2019 was pretty great but 2020 is definitely already giving it a run for its money. I wish I could stay in Bora Bora, making my own cocktails and photographing every sunset from a glass boat forever but alas work is calling soon. Did anyone else have an eventful Christmas and New Years break?

The Golden Globes were on Sunday and this year I had the honor to help host the red carpet. I had such an amazing time getting to meet and talk to some of my heroes in this industry. I’m not sure I could pick a favorite person that I interviewed, but I could tell you my favorite moment from the night was when I walked into the Beverly Hilton Hotel before the show started and within seconds Beyoncé had complimented my dress. I’m not really sure what happened after that, but I do know I immediately dropped to the ground and sat on the floor for a few minutes, my sister Paulina made sure to get a picture of me sitting in shock. I think I’m still in shock, so while I recover fill me in on life. How was everyone’s weekend? @hollywoodland-hqs​

I’m curious, what were some of your first jobs before you worked in the entertainment industry? Did anyone have any really embarrassing ones? One of my first jobs was in a cafe, and they wanted us to wear these stupid little berets that I really didn’t want to, which I got away with until the manager came back one day. I asked to go on my lunch break, never returned, and that’s the extent of my career as a barista. I’m without a doubt a lot more suited to where I am right now. @hwlstart

Life is a crazy thing, and I never thought I’d been planning what I’m doing. But mostly I am making a long long list on my Disney+. For once Supergirl is done filming for the season and I go to hibernate for a few more months.  So tell me what should I watch? Besides like the duh! things?   I need a lot of them and I know that Disney+ has a lot of them.

Fuck I really hope the closure of the AT&T network doesn’t mean my show just vanishes, second season just left unseen. It as so nice to have that security, less financially and more directionally from it, for a time. Shit it’s melodramatic to say but I may be the friendly Castle owner in the employment line here soon.

Not to give away any spoilers, but I am proud to say that this season people have finally came to their senses and see Joe for the guy he truly is: Not Boyfriend Material. It still baffles me to this day how many comments I got after the first season hit talking about how they wanted to date or had a crush Joe even though he was basically a full-fledged psychopath with a tendency to cause some real harm. I get that I am ruggedly handsome, but that shouldn’t remotely blind people from the fact that Joe is just a messed-up guy. Don’t even get me started on Dan Humphrey either, because that guy isn’t any better. To make a long story short, I’m Penn and I promise you that I am the nicest and coolest person you will ever meet... despite the fact that my most memorable characters are basically terrible human beings. @hwlstart​

I don’t think I’ve gone anywhere near a movie set since Dark Phoenix press ended, and I don’t think I’ve ever been happier than I am right now. Don’t get me wrong, bloody love my job, but after eight seasons of Game of Thrones, X-Men movies, and smaller projects I’ve done in the middle, this whole pseudo-sabbatical year I’m taking to enjoy myself has been doing wonders to my life. Plus, I get to spend loads of time with my husband and play IRL tour life, which is very interesting. For example, the older your band is (and your band members especially), the least you tolerate tour buses and the more you invest in good hotel rooms. I’m very happy I joined the #tourlife at this stage, because there’s no way you’ll catch me sleeping in a bloody tour bus.  @hollywoodland-hqs
