A wry smirk found its place at his whiskered mouth, gloved had lifting to run over it as he really contemplated her question. (or at least acted like it) Boy, she was fuckin’ cute, wasn’t she? In her own little way—not quite like the women he typically went for, say his harem of wives for example. But DAMN, she was a fuckin’ spitfire, and as long as they weren’t fuckin’ butting heads, that was damn fine in his book.

Shane sees it coming, feels the jitters in the half circle of Saviors around them, but he doesn’t move, just takes it. He feels the pain explode on his face and reels back like he was just hit by a truck, stumbling backwards into the crowd that quickly grabs him and shoves him back towards Negan. He stumbles briefly but doesn’t fall to his knees, just momentarily touches one hand to the ground and shoves himself back up to standing.

“You can hit me all you want.” He hisses, “But it still don’t change the fact that you should have killed Rick Grimes when you had the chance, and you didn’t.”
