For those with dogs and cats who are scared by fireworks, I want to share what I've learned to calm them down. Petey is terrified of the loud noises that fireworks make. I give her melatonin, or hydroxizine, and CBD. She also wears a Thundercoat. All of these things, used in proper dosages get her through the fireworks every 4th of July. Once you pick one, you can ask your vet or go online to find out how much to give your beloved pet. They are all safe, and they work great. I've used them all before, and they helped a lot. I have found that melatonin works the best for Petey. I give her a couple of CBD chews with it, and she's relaxed throughout the day and into the night. I wouldn't use them all at once. As I said, ask your vet. The Thundercoat reduces the blood pressure of your pet by gently caressing their body. I never make it too tight. It really helps a lot. I hope this helps you and your furry loves ones. Have a happy and safe 4th!!! 😁😍🎆🎇✨️
And, I've added noise canceling headphones to the things I use to get Petey through all the noise. I hope everyone thinks about the effect on others their actions may have and has fun, while letting everyone else have fun, too!! 🥳🎉🎊🎆🎇🧨✨️💥🙏🏼♥️🐕♥️🕊
