the spotted hyena is a hyena species native to sub-saharan africa. hyenas are unique in that the females are the only mammal species to lack a vaginal opening, with a pseudo-penis used to have intercourse and give birth. hyenas are the most common large predator in africa, but they also frequently scavenge for their food; their feces is often chalky and white due to the amount of bone content. hyena groups are female-dominated, despite often being compared to wolves, their social structure is very different (hyenas are not closely related to the canine family).

My last year of school is taking all of my time away but I’m still alive!! :‘DD I’m working on some bigger projects which I won’t be able to share until next year, but at least I’ve got some cool stuff on the way!
