But, also, he does have a law degree from Yale University in the comics. The famed law-breaking vigilante Batman having a law degree is also peak humor.

Anyway, he has it from their Gotham Campus...which exists, apparently, because god forbid he actually went up to Connecticut during his "world training tour" for whatever degree he would get from Yale Law School (maybe a Juris Doctorate, least time intensive?). It doesn't match how any Yale Law degree actually seems to look, but it's just a quick background detail no one was meant to look at too closely.

Thoughts on The Spider?

(So Sorry for the late response !! I didn’t see this in my inbox until recently ,, I’m not sure how I glossed over it ??)

Uhhhh uhm uh . I haven’t gotten The Spider in any of my playthroughs yet so I am a bit lacking in Knowledge about bro but . I managed to scrape a few things together ,,

Feels sort of hay-like to the touch ? Very prickly and coarse . If you’ve ever pet a goat it’s kinda like that . Also leaves your hand feeling a little bit Tingly for a few minutes afterwards

Puffs up like a cat when startled . I firmly believe that spider is covered in Some sort of fur or hair-like material ok

Also very very Cold . I believe there’s in-game text that says it ‘disappears into thin air’ or something along those lines if you kick it out, so I’m assuming The Spider is incorporeal at least to some degree ? It can still interact with the world , as it states that its body needs food and all that, and you can still interact with it fairly normally, but I think there would be Signs that it doesn’t exist Fully on this plane . One of those being that it doesn’t give off any body heat at all .

I don’t . Remember if there’s any interactions between it and the kids but I think one of them definitely would’ve asked to ride it like a horse before . The kids racing eachother around the apartment with one of them on top of Spider , one on top of Lyle, and Rat Baby on top of Audrey ,, giggles ,,

It is a little bit Intimidated by Hellen . It may not show it , but the knowledge/realization that she exists in multiple places and times at once Frightens it just a tad . in the same way that the game describes Spider as ‘uncharacteristically hesitant’ around The Masked Shadow

Not a Serious headcannon but . Y’know how it asks Lyle how he managed to recreate the world it’s from so well or whatever? Well imagine if The Spider is from a world where dnd/m&w is Real . Like straight-up just a one-to-one of your average dnd/m&w campaign
