I’m so glad that MASH isn’t super popular because you know that if this fandom was any bigger there would be a lot of crazy shit going on. Can you imagine? Luckily I’ve been considering it and made a hypothetical MASH fandom bullshit list. I’m sorry:

Anger at people calling Hawkeye gay because he’s been with women so that’s bi erasure

The fandom at large decides to vehemently hate Colonel Potter because he’s regular army and you can’t have nuanced opinions about his character

Trapper gets cancelled. This feels like a given

The first three seasons become so contentious that people will block you for liking them or not liking them

Furry fan art (obligatory)

A small but not insignificant contingent of fans decide Frank is now a problematic fave and is actually redeemable because he had a traumatic childhood

People start shipping Henry/Radar as like a daddy kink thing (okay yeah writing this one made me feel physically ill)

Ok so here's a possibly incomplete list of all the Jet-centered AUs my clusterfuck of a brain has come up with so far • Jet comes back on the day of black sun au • Zuko joins the freedom fighters and helps Jet commit crimes in Ba Sing Se au • Jet joins the gaang after lake laogi au •ghost Jet au • Jet works for Zuko and Iroh at the jasmine dragon au (essentially a glorified coffee shop au) • Jet becomes a bodyguard to older Zuko au •side character summer camp (not technically Jet centered but it still involves him a lot)
