Why lavender?
Like the wisteria on a warm spring morning by the riverside, the color lavender calls out to you. Lavender is soft and caring enough to envelop your worries and calm your mind. It’s the color for a certain state of mind; while other colors are certainly more appropriate for certain occasions, lavender is always there for you when you want to come back to the emotions it evokes. I see the dark purple of a sunset and know that tomorrow will be okay; I see the lavender in the garden and know that today, too, things can be okay the way they are.
Excuse me sir, did you get hit by a dog?

Why Americans are so open and sociable? Like you can ask strangers for kisses!
Hehe, Well I wouldn’t say every American is like that (certainly not me, kissing strangers that is, unless I have a gun to my head or if it’s for a good cause), but there is some truth to this popular stereotype. It’s most likely due to the ‘I-don’t-give-a-fuck’ attitude that some people have, the thrill of doing new and unexpected things. US is an individualist country, people are encouraged to express their individuality and be unique (though that can be a hypocritical statement as well 'cause there are many who have to suppress their true selves). There’s also that long-time mindset that we deserve freedom (freedom of speech, freedom of expression etc) which leads people to do a lot of impulsive forward things. I’m not saying this attitude is not prevalent in other countries too, but there are deep-rooted factors that made Americans have this reputation. In my personal opinion (as a first generation american from India), I think this attitude is both good and bad. It all matters how you exercise it.
"SEARCHING LIKE A CAT"
“SEARCHING LIKE A CAT”
You walk into my dreams at night!
Grieving! A woman who was in fright!
My mother! Did you know
Your daughter died so slow?
Now, are you going, too?
Come back, for once be true!
Dreams in my hours, so dark!
Searching like a cat with no lark!
Thrills and mournful call;
Once more so dull!
Surely mama, sure;
She is somewhere, did you know?
Did she soar?
Could you hear her roar?
Let me explain, you…
