Strongly recommend giving university students stickers for completing exams because 1) you get to see the stickers becoming permanent decoration on headphones and phone cases and laptops and water bottles and 2) a little dopamine as a treat after an exam cannot be bad thing

Ya wanna know what's funny? I have no idea what the tumblr boop game was on Halloween, but when I came into work the next day, I got booped by a 3 year old with a Lincoln log. He kept going, "boop" and pressing me like I was a button.... for like a couple minutes. It made my day.

I love my job and arriving at 6AM every day. The hills and skies are gorgeous in this urban area. A 7-minute commute isn’t bad either 😊 teaching 2nd is the most amazing dream come true. Grad school start dates can’t come soon enough because I’m addicted to learning as an adult AND teaching children. You can never be too educated.

so. i filled out an application for a first grade position yesterday. i got a call today asking if i was interested in having an interview there this morning. thirty minutes after that call the principal called me to set up a meeting for 12:30. i finished the meeting at 1:15.... and .... YA GIRL IS OFFICIALLY A FIRST GRADE TEACHER!
