laundry day with the starks

Summary: the chaos of laundry day....

You woke up, stretching, you looked at the calendar that was on the wall at the foot of your bed. You gasped as you saw what today was. Laundry day...

On laundry day you, pepper, and tony got all five of the baskets full of clothing that had been sitting in the laundry room begging to be folded, and dump them into a pile in the living room that was probably as tall as you.

You would then start sorting out the clothes, like peppers clothes get a pile, your clothes get a pile, and tonys clothes get a pile. But this is were things tend to get kinda crazy.

You would have multiple arguments on whose clothes are whose. "No y/n, that is MY shirt." Tony said holding the shirt behind his back so you couldn't take it.

"No, you gave it to me on the sixth time you caught me stealing it"

"I did NoOo0tT!" This ending in pepper telling you that that IS tonys shirt and to "just save us both some time and let the poor man have the shirt"

You definitely took it from his pile while he wasn't looking. Hehehe.....

Imagine tony having to turn around while you and pep are folding your underwear 💀

"Oh my god, ive been looking for this" you said holding up one of your favorite shirts, you then walked out for a moment, then came back in with the shirt on.

Sudden outfit changes are a natural diva stark instinct (im sorry wtf was that 😆)

"You know you should change into that real quick" tony said, gesturing to the bikini pep was holding.

You gave him a "im so fucking scared rn bro," kind of look and he chuckled at you.

You turned on a movie when you became bored with the silence, it was one of the movies that you and your father watched when you were little.

You all eventually leaned back, watching the movie. You eventually fell asleep and tony carried you to your bed, your clothes tucked neatly in a basket on top of your dresser.

I think the funniest thing about my POTS is that I can use it to determine when I reallyyyy need to do my laundry.

My feet are so clammy and cold all the time so I often have to switch socks a couple times a day because they get “soggy” as I like to say, and just become really uncomfortable. Since my feet are so cold, I can’t forgo the socks - meaning I go through socks like nobodies business.

When I run out of socks (and I have a lot) it’s time to do my laundry! Usually I can fill half a load with mostly socks; I find it a little funny.

I suppose it’s good to have things you can laugh about when being chronically ill sucks so bad, so I thought I’d share after I completed my comically large load of socks :)
